Use tiles in my oven to make homemade pizza!
PREP for oven use: When I first got these quarry stones, I soaked 9 tiles in water over night in a clean bucket. I then wiped off excess water, put in oven then turn on and set to 200 degrees for 15 minutes, turned off oven and let them stay in there for about 1 hour or until cool and dry. I then coated each with very THIN layer of Canola oil with soft cloth. Take another clean cloth to ensure you have removed excess oil...placed in oven, turned on and set to 425 degrees for 1 hour...turn oven off and let them stay in oven for about 2 hours or until cool. Then they are seasoned and ready to use!
I leave mine in the oven at all times near bottom rack and when making bread or pizza, I move the tiled rack to 2nd to top rack. Easy and works excellent. I even have plenty left in case one breaks. My pizza has never tasted so good! I highly recommend.

Baking Stone Success!
After my expensive pizza stone split into several pieces from a sauce spill on the hot stone, I realized that I did not want to spend so much money on an item that can break suddenly and easily. A case of these quarry tiles solved the issue! Not only are they just as effective as my old stone, but set up in a 3x3 block in my oven they give me more area to work with, and I'm not worried about breakage! Sure, I'm sure they will crack eventually too, but for less than half the price of most baking stones, I have back-up stones stacked in a closet to last me a lifetime. Their smaller size makes them ideal for using on the grill, too.

Pizza Stone
Works as a baking stone for pizzas and bread, much cheaper than buying a pizza stone. I have found a good number of broken tiles in the box, but that happens with purchasing tile.
6 tiles fit in my oven in a 2x3 arrangement; if I wanted to cut to cover the whole oven rack, I could fit more, but 12x18 is fine for what I am baking.

I really liked the tile... but when I opened the box I realized that there were a lot of tiles that were broke. A lot of the tiles were completely cracked. There were a limited amount of tiles that were usable. The other ones that weren’t cracked in half were chipped at the corners!

Great Pizza Stone
I just tiled a rack in my oven with these tiles. I did have to buy a tile cutter but everything went real easy.
