This flooring is absolutely gorgeous.
I recently purchased a cabin in a somewhat remote location. It was in excellent condition but the previous owner had installed primarily carpeting with a small amount of laminate. I was looking to do the kitchen, dining area and great room in a new flooring. I considered all options and went with this laminate, primarily due to the ability to match existing wall colors and tongue and groove ceiling. The reclaimed chestnut was a great choice with its color scheme. More importantly, I am very happy with the quality and look and feel. I did upgrade the underlayment. The floor should hold up well with 2 kids and a wife. Highly recommend.

Reclaimed Chestnut Laminate FlooringI needed a laminated flooring in my man cave office and didn't want carpet that needed a chair mat.
So putting this flooring down really helped me, especially rolling around my work area. Looks great, smooth and really easy to install. I made a pallet wall for the rustic look in my man cave and this flooring was the closest match that I could find that would work.

warped boardsTongues do not lock well, finished floor areas come apart after put together. Inferior product in my opinion. Several of the boards were "U" shaped (warped) making my floor wavy in some areas. I expected more when I made the purchase. I wouldn't recommend this flooring if I had to do it over.

DON'T PURCHASEAbsolutely gorgeous floor, but extremely poor quality. Locking mechanism is defective. After a few months you will see planks that move at the joint because the locking mechanism failed. I am so sorry I purchased this flooring. It was professionally installed by the Home Depot.

Beware the black areasOverall the laminate was good, but the samples I brought home and many Home Depot photos do not show the prominent dark areas. Only the photos posted by customers show the flooring as it is-- mottled with dark areas. I feel disappointed in the appearance of the floor, but I could have saved myself much distress if I had looked at the photos online or opened the boxes of flooring to look at them prior to install. The appearance of the flooring in a small room is not as startling as in a larger area. I think the manufacturer or Home Depot should inform the customer to open the boxes and inspect them for appearance prior to install. I recommend the product only if the customer looks at the flooring from the boxes prior to installing.
