We needed to put a floor in our hallway when you enter from the garage door so we decided to try this laminate flooring. We needed something that is going to hold up to a lot of tough traffic because we have a stone driveway and small stones are always being brought into the house through this door. We have installed other "popular" laminate flooring brands in our basement and this one actually seemed to snap together easier and with less force than the other more "popular" brand we used in the past. You can see in the before and after pictures the floor looks beautiful! Two cautions to mention, first there is no under-layment attached to these pieces so you may need to lay one before installing, we installed ours directly to a concrete floor. And second, laminate floors can be slippery when you just have socks on! But all in all you can't beat the price! This floor looks great and is holding up to all of the traffic. It is also super easy to clean. I love this floor!

This is not my first flooring from KronoTex, but the third and fourth from them!
I installed a KronoTex product in my kitchen 4 years ago and it still looks great. This is after being subject to heavy traffic and a Rottweiler to boot!
This Sherwood Hieghts Wilson Pine is beautiful as you can see by the picture I took (beside the Dixon Run Weathered Oak). I plan on using this for a wall accent, mixed in with another KronoTex flooring such as the Dixon Run. If you plan on mixing different styles, be aware that not only do you need the same manufacturer along with the same thickness. But also you SHOULD have the same width. You do not need the same lengths. Since mine isn't from the same group in width, I will have to run solid rows of each. This is because it will not align if you want to place just one or two planks of a different style.
I can attest to the durability of KronoTex, simply I've had it for 4 years.
This product is made in the USA, and comes with a 20 year warranty rated as A3 Heavy Residential Traffic.
If you've never installed KronoTex, I suggest searching YouTube for a video.
This is a highly recommended product.

I've installed many laminate floors and there is a difference in quality. The old, well known brand is a good one. I use their flooring most times, even though it's a little more money. The reason is the quality and ease of installation. Along with the lack of problems in the future.
I'm always interested in new products and I've never heard of this manufacturer, so I thought I'd give it a try. We needed a new floor in our condo - the carpet is pretty old and even though it's really good quality, it's about time for us to change it.
Prep work is key to doing a good job. I like having the room completely clear of everything except my tools. I also clean the floor the best I can - I mop the floor at least two times! If you don't want to remove the baseboard, then you'll need to buy either 1//4 round or a shoe base.
I try to have someone help me with the install. They help cut the pieces and bring boxes of material to me. Remember, prep work is key. That means measuring the number of rows of boards and if the last row is too narrow, the first row needs to be cut.
These boards snap together easily and with a solid click. You know that they're in place! Installation went quickly and without any problems. Even tapping the piece under the threshold went easily.
The floor looks great! The color is great for the room. It has a richness to it! No lifting pieces or chipped corners. Time will tell regarding durability, but based on the install, I expect the floor to last a very long time.
I highly recommend this flooring!
