SUMPTER OAK 12 MM THICK X 8 IN. WIDE X 47.56 IN. LENGTH LAMINATE FLOORING (18.48 SQ. FT. / CASE)
After a year this product started to lift at the connecting ends and one group of planks split at side connecting area the length of the room. I own other homes and have installed flooring before with one house with flooring going on 10 years old. No problems what so ever. I purchased approximately 1800 feet of junk. Take it from me ask installers about the product your interested in before you make a purchase it's well worth it. I've spent thousands of dollars with Home Depot on flooring, complete appliance packages etc but it's over. Cutting up the card for this store and cutting my loses. I'm moving on. Read other sites in regards to this product , not good. Home Depot Had some ex realtor come out and inspect flooring and stated that problem was my error Ha Ha. All I was looking for was some help with the cost of glue. I 've got no alternative but to pull up the floor and glue ends as per professional installers suggestion or replace with another product from another store..

Better to pick out in person....don't get them delivered
I went online to order this floor. It was free to deliver to the store. That was easy but when I got my 9 boxes home and began the install I found 3 boxes were damaged. As a matter of fact...I don't think they were damaged on delivery I think they were packaged like that. I mean these were horrible. All the corners were rounded or cracked. Long story short...I had to find a home depot that had them in store. Had to drive from Ct. to Mass to get 3 more boxes so I could finish my project.
I love the product...looks awesome I would just suggest you open every box before you remove them from the store. I would order extra because the chance of there being several damaged pieces is great. It appears they don't show much care at the warehouse when packing them. Don't forget...some you can hide under molding etc. however in the middle of the floor your corners need to not be broken or weak etc. That will cause the seams to rise up catching anyone's shoe and ultimately, cracking breaking. That would be a mess to fix once the floor is done. Good luck.

Worst Floor I’ve ever owned!
During installation, many pieces didnt fit right, so i ended up throwing lots of them away. After living with this floor for only about 2years, many planks appear to be shrinking and showing cracks. You cant let this floor get wet at all because its swells and buckles. It was by far the worst investment we made when renovating our entire house. I’ll be replacing it soon with tile, but not from Home Depot.

You get what you pay for. Quality is not good
Product Looks Good in the Store. Wide Plank is nice should have been a quicker installation. Product Quality is not there. Easy Click Lock is inaccurate. You may get a box that goes down well and the product is made according to the specs, then the next box you open and start to connect, nothing clicks into place, that box then has some type of defects. By the time you try to find the right boards that click into place securely, you are tossing aside more bad boards. In the end, you are now having to purchase more boxes and then have difficulity trying to return the defective boards. Very frustrating.
Now if we were to do this again, we would have spent the extra money to get a better quality product. Having to purchase additional boxes now equals out to what we would have paid for a higher quality product and would have had less frustration on the installation.
Do you homework before you purchase.

No regrets!!!!!!
My house looks more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Leveling the floors was difficult. Hire someone who knows what they are doing!!!! Once the floor was leveled, the boards went in pretty easily.
It looks like wood. It's soooooo cool to walk on. I can't stop looking at it. I was disappointed that the moldings that go with this floor were not at the store and they look charcoal grey. I had to order one online to see what it looks like. it's taking several weeks. I don't understand why a product that was featured in the store (Sumpter Oak) would not have any matching moldings. Not happy about that, but the floor...OMG! Gorgeous!!!!!

Hard install, quality not great
If you are reading this review you likely bought stock in the store as I did, not realizing that it's not sold on-line any longer.I went to home depot after researching a different flooring option fully - that I intended to purchase, but then decided it was too light when I got to the store and made a different choice without checking reviews. .The floor is installed in a children's playroom. I still cannot believe I didn't check the reviews on-line before I purchased this floor - had I read the reviews, I would have never bought this. I had two professional installers who say this was the worst floor they ever installed. It's been down for a month and it's buckling, uneven, think about kids who like to slide on wood floors -- they catch their socks. Cant slide furniture into place because some boards are higher than other. All around not good. Now that I read about the water issues I can't fathom why HD staff isn't aware of such limitations and cannot advise against installing in an area where there is surely going to be spills and lots of them. I'm covering the entire floor with a rug. Waste of time and money - looks nice, but looks aren't everything!!
