QEP used to have quality products. This obviously isn't the case any more. I used this trowel t...QEP used to have quality products. This obviously isn't the case any more. I used this trowel to apply FRP adhesive to eight 4'x8' sheets. The trowel was totally deformed into an arc shape which only allowed the center to apply the correct amount of adhesive. This made it take much more time than it should have. I believe the cheap plastic trowels are probably more durable.
The worst problem is the pricing. It's more than twice as high as the plastic ones, which wouldn't be an issue if it lasted at least twice as long. Unfortunately, this isn't true.

Used this trowel yesterday to apply thin-set for mosaic tile...Used this trowel yesterday to apply thin-set for mosaic tile on my kitchen backsplash. While it worked to get the job done, it was just a little too long to maneuver easily in the small area between the countertop and the cabinets. However, it did the job and was easy to clean up afterwards.
