It feels like the carpet was laid right on the concrete floor. Had carpet and padding installed by a true flooring company (not big box retailer) in the rest of my house and this is not even close to comparable and it was marginally cheaper. Home depot's get's the order in and gets it installed, but by no means goes out of the way to make sure the end product is what you really want or need for a specific application.
