Not so impressedWe installed this flooring in our kitchen 1 1/2 years ago and the finish is wearing off. We have a dog, a 2 year old, and 2 adults in the house. It does not see a rediculus amount of traffic and we dont wear shoes in the house. There is supposedly a 15 year warranty on the finish but Armstrong (Bruce) refuses to recognize it and do anything about the problem. Refinishing it looks to be the best option but I really dont think I should have to pay for/go through all that after the money we spent to put this floor in so recently. I'm really disappointed at this point.

good value, good product...you get what you pay for, but i have paid more for less in flooring...through 5 boxes and no warped boards and less than 5% were unusable or waste...goes down easy with the right tools and looks magnificent, if i do say so myself...delivery was a waste of time, had to call to make my own appointment and then move the wood off the truck myself after waiting through a 6 hour delivery window...will pick up the nect 20 boxes at the store on my own...great value for the avg-int DIYer...

I must strongly recommend against this product. When I purchased it, I understood the product to...I must strongly recommend against this product. When I purchased it, I understood the product to be random lengths, but there are far too many short pieces. Specifically, I purchased five boxes of this product. The first two were not great in terms of length, but were usable. The third had over thirty pieces less than two feet long and a few longer pieces, with the shortest piece measuring just 9.5" long. Needless to say, it's pretty hard to lay those in a way that doesn't look awful. I contacted the company, concerned that maybe this was just something that had slipped through, but they saw no problem when I described what I had received. I'll be boxing up and returning what I have, and tearing up and discarding what I can't return.

Inspection should be at BruceWe knew to allow for waste, but I assumed waste would be for bad cuts - not for bad pieces. We spent more to go with Bruce and I am aggravated that we have to inspect all 6 sides of every piece - tongues tapered down to nothing, full-width indents halfway through nice long length pieces, not to mention a ridiculous amount of pieces no longer than our tv remote. In my line of work we inspect everything going to the client prior to shipping - we could never say buy extra because we don’t inspect closely! 9 boxes down, 6 to go - and the “waste” pile keeps growing.

Best deal for the money!Nice color with evan shades,for best results open 2-3 boxes as some I opened were long and some were shorts so mixing works great.I always add 10% to the job for waste.Just placed another order and will be delivered to the job for free!
