The Merola Tile Avila Arenal Decor 12-1/2 in. x 12-1/2 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile has an old world, rustic charm that complements many decor styles. Composed of ceramic, this tile has a unique, glazed-textured surface with rows of vibrant designs. One tile has twenty five squares featuring a variety of geometric, floral and classic patterns separated by faux grout lines. The breathtaking combination of different patterns, textured surface and mixed finish creates a stunning installation that will be a talking point for any indoor space. A coordinating field tile and trim pieces are available within the Avila Collection, allowing you to create a truly unique installation. This tile is suitable for indoor use only.

I used this tile as a border around my bathroom mirror and it turned out great!
I recently took a chance and purchased 3 Merola Avila Arenal Decor tiles from the Home Depot website. They looked just like the picture on their website and shipped very quickly via UPS. I cut each tile into 5 pieces that were 2.5" X 12.5". I used these to create a tile border around one of my bathroom mirrors. I call it a tile frame because it frames the mirror. The tiles cut very easily and I had no breakage using a fairly inexpensive tile saw. I used a Locktite mirror adhesive to glue them directly onto the mirror. I left gaps between the tile pieces to match the fake grout lines in the tile and then I grouted the gaps in a matching grout.
I looked for weeks for wood frames that I could use to cover the very plain mirrors that had no edging, but this idea was so much prettier and is very practical because I can wipe down the tile easily. It probably worked out to be a cheaper idea too as the wood frames were costly.

I ordered the Merola tile to accent my white subway tile on my kitchen backsplash. I was blown a...I ordered the Merola tile to accent my white subway tile on my kitchen backsplash. I was blown away with how absolutely stunning the Merola tile looked. I am so pleased with the outcome. I get so many compliments...it is such a conversation piece. At night when all the lights are out and the over the range light is on the reflection against the backsplash is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Home Depot for the beautiful tile!

I wanted simplicity with a the wow factor....I receive nothing but compliments. The Merola tile is such a conversation piece. My kitchen looks sleek and modern with the new Merola tile and compliment the white subway tile so well. I have to say myself that my kitchen looks AMAZING! I am thrilled with my new kitchen!

Wonderful!I can't comment on the ease of installation as someone did it for us. However, we are very happy with the results. We put two of these in our kitchen as accents and we couldn't be more pleased.
