We used this for flooring in our kitchen/family room combo. We love it. We don't understand the comments about the water staining and weathered look--it's clearly designed that way and creates a great look as long as you mix them in. This tile is GREAT tile for a kitchen, because if you drop some crumbs or spill a drop of a drink, it doesn't show. We hired an installer, so I don't know how easy it was to install, but he said it was pretty easy. He charged about $6 a square foot including demo and haul away of the old floor and reinstalling baseboards. That's about half what we paid for fancy mosaic tile in the bathroom.
BTWL I'm not exactly sure what happens when you pick and choose the non-stained tiles and send a whole box of tiles that are only water-stained. I suppose they go back into stock and then you are sticking a whole box of them to some other customer who would end up with a way high percentage of the water stained ones. I would suggest don't buy these if you don't like the water stained look.

Overall, we are THRILLED with the finished results, but to avoid the water stained looking tiles, OVER-ORDER and just return what you don't use. We ordered 100 sq for our 60 sq ft bath remodel on purpose because some tiles look really water stained online. We went through each and every box and picked the least stained tiles for the main areas and "hid" the more stained looking ones under vanities, or didn't use them. HD will return your shipping fee per box you return-so this was an easy solution, just required extra legwork.
We did one bath with dark grout and one with lighter grout-both look great, but I think I like the darker grout better. Depends on what you are looking for.
Over all, for the price ($210 a bath!!!) you cannot beat the look and price. Great value, super easy to install (according to our tile guy).

These tiles are exactly what I was looking for. Modern,...These tiles are exactly what I was looking for. Modern, and clean lines with a slate like finish and variation from tile to tile. Oddly, they feel softer underfoot than some of my other tile flooring. Love it.

The reasoning behind the low rating is despite the sleek modern look, the price of time, patience, and dealing with returns etc, is debatable to the products overall worth. We will have to order at least double what was needed for the project because the shipment arrived with exactly half of the tiles broken. It was a very unpleasant experience to go through each box and find that some were completely smashed, some half smashed, or some had the last two tiles broken. The packaging was very poor too. The boxes were flimsy and the only thing between the tiles and whatever hard surface they were slammed against were packing peanuts. If HD can redeem themselves with good customer service with the refund/exchange (We are having replacement tiles sent to store to see if they handle them any better), perhaps this review can be edited; but it was a real damper to have spent so much on shipping and have so many tiles be unusable. Not to mention this item was on back order and it was a bit of a tumble trying to get an eta too. Have never had a problem shopping in the store but will rethink shopping online again.

They are very durable and the large format changes the look of the room. The elongated hexagon shape is also pretty unique that can really change a bathroom. There is more variation in the color than you might expect, so look over the contents of a box to make sure you install them in the best pattern. These tiles do require some care in cutting like most porcelain tile. Because of their large format it is also important to carefully prepare the subsurface, to insure a smooth level base.

I am a nationally licensed interior designer and have specified and installed A LOT of flooring o...I am a nationally licensed interior designer and have specified and installed A LOT of flooring over the last 25 years and this is one of my all time favorites. It is a rectified (meaning "trimmed to size" for consistent size) porcelain and it mimics a dark slate floor incredibly well. Great product and modern shape!

Tile went up easily and was delivered to local store...Tile went up easily and was delivered to local store in perfect shape. I used in open shower walls w/white grout to make it pop. Will follow up with pics when done.
