Designed to reflect the harmony and balance of nature, the distressed texture of the wood reveals its deep age and character and suggests the regal stature of its namesake. Its high color variation makes each plank individual, so every installation is unique. The surface is protected by a layer of scuff-resistant Platinum finish so it won't its soft sheen won't dull over time. Each plank is finished with pillowed edges and ends that give it a sculptural appearance and a soft tread underfoot. Inside the floor is a dense and sturdy core, which is designed to resist dents and cupping. The secure lock at each joint ensures a tight fit that lasts.
