Vintage flooring from bygone years is the inspiration for this engineered hardwood floor. Its rustic maple wood grain reflects the image of hand-hewn planks, while its gentle Snyder coloration provides interest and intrigue. The 5 in. planks come in random lengths so each layout is unique and its 3/8 in. depth is slender yet strong because of its dense central core, which is designed to resist dents. The surface of the floor is coated with Shaw's Platinum finish, which resists scrapes and scratches and lasts for years. Appropriate for most locations, the installation options allow it to be used in kitchens, hallways and bedrooms. It installs easily over radiant heated subfloors so it works well in below-ground levels.
