Add a traditional aesthetic enhancement to your decor with this MSI 12 in. x 12 in. Emperador Light Marble Floor and Wall Tile, which incorporates dramatic veining and comes in a handsome beige color. This polished tile is constructed from durable, impervious marble material, comes in a smooth, unglazed finish and is suitable for installation on floors, walls and countertops in commercial and residential spaces such as bathrooms and kitchens. Note: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

Not as good as Daltile
I bought this as a fill in to another brand I had been using. I ran short and this was quicker to ship. This is a natural stone so all brands should be the same. Color matched to orignals weel but stone was more porous and had not been filled. It was also of softer quailty and the first piece I cut fell apart on the saw. Luckily no others did, however, serveal other splintered at the cut line. I had already cut and installed 28 cases from 2 batches throught he other brand (Daltile) and did not find these issues or flaws.

Beware of variances in quality between boxes.I am reviewing the second of two orders that I recently placed for Emperador Light marble. Unlike my first order, which consisted of two boxes of very nice and high quality marble, my second order was disapppointing. The marble was very brittle and shattered easly while being cut or even when being lifted by an edge. This poor quality caused various problems in the installation of our back splash. In the future, I will be sure to get all of the marble that I need in one order and to immediately return any shipment that appears to be of questionable quality..

I needed 40 pieces to finish a job that I was short on. I knew I would run the risk of the colors...I needed 40 pieces to finish a job that I was short on. I knew I would run the risk of the colors not matching exactly but I am shocked on how different they are. The price was good, as far as marble is concerned, the lead time was good the bad part is that the picture is an "ok" representative of the quality. I guess I was wishful thinking that it would be a better match to my existing product of the same name. Not only is it dramatically different in color but as fare as marble goes it has little depth in the color "movement" as they call it. It is bland, more like ceramic. If that is the look you are going for save yourself money, go ceramic. Don't buy finish products from a computer picture is another lesson i relearned.

breakage, inconsistent qualityI ordered 2 cases of these to reface my fireplace...first case
was fine, however every tile in the second case was broken...Home Depot was very quick to accept the return and reorder a new case...the replacement case was not in the original packing...it was obviously assembled from prior rejects...several tiles showed obvious signs of crack repairs and several others had chipped edges...fortunately I was able to salvage enough good tiles to complete my project...tiles are pretty but if you factor in the value of the junk tiles they are no bargain...this is the second time that I had big problems with web ordered stone tiles from home depot and I won't
do it again

worst tile purchaseHad to special order the tile, comes in orders of 4 tiles, shipped two to a box. One box, both tiles broken, second box one cracked. Home Deport apologized and reordered for me, next shipment, all four tiles broken. I canceled my order. This was not the fault of Home Depot, poor packaging from MSI
