Selected this flooring specifically due to the wild grain and color variations. Paired beautifully with my custom rustic hickory Amish cabinets. Absolutely LOVE it. There were several "bad" boards along the way that either couldn't be used or had to be modified to be used, but I measured generously on top of the estimated 10% waste. Shopped multiple suppliers and no one could match this hickory floor for the pattern let alone the price. The knotts and striated natural patterns in the hickory were EXACTLY what I wanted and what I received! Love, love, love this flooring.
