Disappointed in Millstead company
Bought this flooring last year and installed it ourselves in our living room, dining room and hallway. We purchased the click and lock version. Loved the color variation in the wood and random length of boards. Decided to put it in one of our bedrooms this year. We ordered more flooring and when it came all the boards were one length. We returned it to the store telling them what the problem was and reordered more. When it came in the boards again were all one length even though it is marked "random length." The company was contacted by the store and said that's how it is made now. I emailed the company myself and was told if they have a good batch of wood then they don't cut the boards different lengths. I talked to someone who installs wood flooring and they said it sounded like the company was trying to cut corners and save themselves time and money. Because it is click and lock if we cut it ourselves we can only use the cut piece at the start of a row. Gave this a low rating on appearance and quality because of issues with the flooring recently ordered.Won't be purchasing Any flooring by Millstead in the future.

Great FloorWe chose this over another floor that we looked at in our home. The distressing is not overpowering and seems natural. The distressing is very effective at hiding any small imperfections. The instructions don't tell you what size staples to use. I called the manufacturer and they spec 1-1/4" long (minimum) by 1/4" crown 18 gauge staples. Out of 13 boxes I had 2-3 boards that looked like there was a small issue with the stain or finish. The boards are variable length but only a couple of our boxes had some boards that were significantly smaller than the others. There is some color variation between boards but not much. We have used a black (ebony) wax pen to repair any face nailed holes or minor dings from installation, the black looks like just another distressed point on the wood. The dog and kids have already been running around on it and there has been no issues.

Excellent product and Easy to installThis product has a great finish, was easy to install and looks great. Our installation was a glue down below grade. As you would expect with a natural product some boards were better than others, but 95% were "A" grade. Those that were not made great fill pieces. Two thumbs up!

not worth it in so many waysMy floor was installed almost six months ago. Still attempting to get installation properly finished. Floor is pretty but the finish is soft and scratches very easily. I don't remember if this is my fifth or sixth repair today over past six months. Spent a lot of money and Very Very disapponted in both product and installation. Service from Home Depot and their installation company is sub-par. Took the joy out of putting in a new floor through most of my home.

Any positive reviews are most likely written by the manufacturer... worst floor ever. I Ordered this floor for our house remodel, we have it installed throughout the entire upstairs of our house and I couldn't be more DISAPPOINTED. The edges of many boards chipped off during installation and looks terrrible. The floor scratches if anything other than socks slide across it and the finish is already beginning to crack after 10 months. EVERYTHING shows up on it so you have to clean it everyday, but don't use a wrung out rag to clean it because even that little bit of water wrecks the cheap finish.
I couldn't be more upset about our horrible decision to install this floor. Not only did we spend thousands of dollars on a super CHEAP floor... but I spent 20 hours of my life installing the junk.
DO NOT BUY THIS FLOOR

Material arrived as promised and in good condition. As I stared to unbox the floor, found 2 to 3 pieces in each box that were end cuts and could only be used as a starter or end piece. Most of these pieces were waste. Also found at least on board per box that was damage of the finish was rough and the sections of these boards had to be cut around. The other 85% percent of the boards were great, fit together well and looked great. Would recommend this product but really need to inspect the board carefully and really mix the boxes to get a good look.

Huge disappointment!!!!!We placed this floor in a completely remodeled kitchen and really loved the color. However, five months later we are noticing dark spots coming through some of the planks. After several weeks of talking with Home Depot staff, they finally sent someone to take pictures. Now telling us the manufacturer is not going to do anything. What happened to the great warranties they put in writing? Also, the material is very soft and scratches easily. We are not done with this!!!!!

Very high qualityI was impressed with the overall quality of the Flooring. I actually bought 1 case of this flooring to match up with an odd lot of a rustic hickory floor so I only used a partial case as that was only what was needed to finish the job. I would not hesitate to use this flooring again providing the price was a little more reasonable.
