High Gloss Piano Finish Laminate Flooring simulates an upscale look from traditional to exotic styles. The 8 mm High Density Fiberboard planks have an attached 2 mm foam underlayment, reducing noise and providing shock absorbing cushion. This product has achieved GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and has been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, to meet these standards. The glueless installation is easy and economical; above grade, on grade and below grade. I will start by saying that the floors are beautiful BUT i'm not sure how durable they are. I had them installed by Home Depot and the entire process after you pay your money is real cloudy and in my case unpleasant. I've had the floors TWO WEEK and this is what I found this morning a hole in my floor. I'm not sure what caused this as I don't live alone but there is nothing broken in my house and we currently have no furniture because we got rid of everything to have the floors installed. I've had to make 3 calls (installer, HD CS & store where purchase was made) only to be told that the person that can help me is on vacation. In my mind these floors aren't durable. Another reason that I say this is that I have 2 boxes of damaged planks in my car that I now need to take to the store across town because my neighborhood store will not return it. I will go back to the fact that the floors are beautiful but I can not be content with the fact that if something hits the floor it could potentially damage it. A scratch or a ding maybe but a hole in the floor seems to be a product issue. Hoping that this can be resolved and that someone has time to hear how your processes are broke.

Average quality with very nice finishFlooring is durable and looks very nice. As another reviewer noted, tapping more than exactly the necessary amount when installing causes raised edges on the short end of the grooved plank, but that is minor issue that can be avoided if you take your time.
About a month after installing, the floor started making crackling sounds when walked on, but only after it has not been walked on for a few hours; it is worse when the sun has been hitting the floor. Anyone else have this crackling issue, and does it go away? I left a 1/4" gap around the perimeter as instructed (up to 1/2" in some areas due to walls not being straight). The flooring was in the house for 3 days before installation was started. It is installed over flat particle board on top of plywood.
I gave the quality rating 3 stars because my main reason for posting this review is to describe the crackling sounds. Other than that it is a very nice floor. If the sounds subside or can be fixed, I would give it 4-5 stars and a 5 star overall rating. Anyone with experience or advice please comment or post a review.

Love this Flooring!I read all of the reviews before purchasing this and purchased based on the reviews and the sample I saw in the store. I absolutely love the look of this flooring. I rated it average on ease of installation because it does take a special tool to get the planks to snap together correctly, however, my Installer said that is a very good thing as it will never come apart. My Installer is a general Contractor who installs lots of flooring and was very impressed with this. I installed this in all rooms in the house but the bedrooms - 900 square feet. The price was great and everyone thinks it is hardwood, not laminate. Lots of variation in the colors. Definitely recommend this flooring to those wishing for a higher end look. Just the right shade between light and dark as I have lighter cabinets in the kitchen but all cherry furniture.

Got 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom to go but so far it seems to snap together quickly and it looks absolutely beautiful on the floor. Easy to clean with swiffer or our spinbrush broom. You will need to buy felt pads to stick to all your furniture legs so they won't leave scratches on the floor.

The in the store display had this product but it...The in the store display had this product but it turned out to be an on-line purchase only and home delivery only sale. Had to pay $40 extra in shipping. Arrived on a palate and not a single board was damaged. First time I did a laminate flooring and came out perfect. A few swear word job but all my fault. Looks great.

We had the floor installed, so can't comment on the ease of installation... but, the salesperson ...We had the floor installed, so can't comment on the ease of installation... but, the salesperson ordering for the room, figured 2 boxes short, so we had to have the installers come back, as it is a special order floor. So,it was disappointing as far as ordering, but the floor so far looks beautiful!
