outstanding product
Couldnt be more pleased. My wife and i are both in our mid 60”s and over weight. We bought 80 boxes for our 1500 sf 80 year old farm house with uneven wavy old floors. Let me tell you this product really exceded all our expectations. It snapped together perfectly. Very well engineered. It took us an average of 8 hours per room to lay the flooring.66 hours for the whole house. Heres what you will need:compound miter saw to make your cuts(cant cut planks with a knife), chalk to mark your cuts, table saw to make your long cuts, yard stick, tape measure, rubber hammer, 1 heavy duty pull bar, 2 tapping blocks because after a while they will break. We started out with spacers and they would work great on a new contruction home but not well on a old not square home like ours. We drilled screws to hold the planks in place then we took the screws out after we finished. You wont know what im talking about untill you start doing this part. Follow my advice and your project will go easier. We have been finished now about two weeks now and we couldnt be happier. I forgot one thing you will need a bottle of ibuprophen.

Look is amazing but feel is awful
I love the look of fhis flooring but functionally, and feel is awful. If you like walking barefoot in your house, you will hate this floor as i do. Hugely false advertised with a gentleman installing this floor over broken tile. No way that would feel good. I installed this over 5/8th thick plywood subfloor 4’x8’ sheets and you can tell every small change underneath the subfloor. Unfortunatly i installed this in my entire house.... im afraid to put trim down because everyday i debate ripping it up but financially i cannot replace my entire house so i feel stuck with it. Id almost prefer the plywood subfloor over this. I have installed a few click floorings before this and never had this level of unevenness issues. I was excited being fully waterproof but i dont understand how it could be with all the seems that open up if you dont perfectly install. It is a very fickle install. Every piece you lay, you need to check the last 4 rows for popped seems..... i hope this helps someone before buying.

Good product so far. Not sure as to how well it will hold up once traffic is put on it but I suspect it will be durable. One thing to note with this particular pattern is that there is a wide difference in shades of the planks. They range from light to very dark which will give you a very rustic appearance once it's down. I had a minimum of three to five boxes open at a time and separated between light and dark so that I could blend them together as I put them in. If you don't, you will likely end up with large areas of light planks and others of very dark planks. As far as installing, it's easy but patience is a virtue. Don't be shy with the rubber mallet and if there is a seam you're not happy with, don't hesitate to pull the plank out before continuing. It's likely that the tongue is damaged or defective preventing you from getting a tight seam. Also, the tongues and the grooves are fragile. If you accidentally drop a plank on its edge/corner, check it closely, it's probably damaged.

This is one of the most fun and exciting parts of a very long remodel we made to our kitchen. Only seeing a small portion of the sample doesn't do the product justice. Each row we completed added a depth to our kitchen that didn't exist before. You'll see the horrid ancient floor we went right over to install our new floor. It works, as advertised. Recommend 100%.

Love this stuff!! I put it down myself, ( I am a 60 year old DIY female). My kitchen is 480 square feet and it took me 12 hours. My kitchen has a lot of angles that I had to cut. Scored them at first but eventually got the power saw out, lol! Also had to move stove and refrigerator. Total cost about $1200! Oh, FYI, the floor is different shades of grey from Charcoal Grey to very Light Grey and also shades of Dark Cream or Weathered Cream. The floor is rustic and very real wood looking. You have to touch it to know it is vinyl! It looks great even with my kitchen being very modern. Remember to lock the sides in first and then tap the ends in with the soft hammer they sell on this site. Use a tapping block to get the seams nice and tight so they don't pop out on you. I even put small screws on the extreme ends to keep everything in place since this floor floats and does not glue down and because they will be covered by molding anyway once I put it down tomorrow. Would do another one in another room in a heartbeat!

Really nice vinyl planks that install fairly simple with good thought out planning.
Planning is key here so to limit waste and make the install easier. Pick planks from different boxes so you do not run the same pattern time and time again. This will look more natural and appealing to the eye.
I also removed the baseboard, quarter round and toilet to make the job easier and a whole lot cleaner. Keep in mind you'll need transition pieces wherever you meet a different flooring surface. I. E. carpet, ceramic, etc.
Also, be aware that cutting a board removes the ability to use that on anything but an "end" since you've cut off the click/lock piece. I also have a linen closet that used up several short pieces that could not be used elsewhere.
I bought all the tools needed for the project and knew that it was worth it in the end. It made the job much easier.
Take your time, watch some YouTube videos and go slow ... the end result will be worth it.

I'm in Tears
We bought this floor because it looked beautiful and the Home Depot flooring people assured us it was the easiest floor to lay, and that it was incredibly durable. We had a friend experienced in installing laminate put the floor in for us. We watched the installation videos together to make sure we knew how to put it down. We went over the entire floor with a level and raised a couple of low spots we had. Here we are four days later and the floor isn't finished. The part that was finished two days ago is separating. We have gaps and high and low planks. We've spent $3000 so far on the floor and the installation, and I feel like it has been a complete waste because the floor is already a mess and it isn't finished. My recommendation if you buy this is to have it professionally installed - and Home Depot should let buyers know how difficult it is to install. Our holiday season is ruined because of our choice to purchase this floor. I'm very disappointed in Home Depot and LifeProof.

This stuff was super easy to install. I did about 1200 sq ft downstairs and only took me a couple days by myself. Save yourself a headache and get a cheap jig saw for tough cuts like around vents and doors. The second day I got the jigsaw and made my life much easier
