It is just okay...
I thoroughly researched wood species before deciding upon this engineered hardwood floor. I selected hickory due to its hardness and the beautiful wood grain. The installers remarked how easy it was to install. I was overall impressed with my purchase, except that the wood color variations were like night and day. Some planks were very dark, as walnut stain should be, while others were light like the color of pine (If you look in the photo near the couch you can see precisely what I am describing). Also, the hardness wasn't as expected. It has been dented from dropping a cell phone on it. If you are looking to install it anywhere, a bedroom would be best - not a high traffic living area with children.
