I returned it. Not an easy, quality way to refinish a staircase. You'll have to cut off the round...I returned it. Not an easy, quality way to refinish a staircase. You'll have to cut off the round/bullnose portion of your existing tread and square off the corner to glue this down. You can't just slip it over the bullnose like other products. It lays on top of your laminate or vinyl floor that you cover your tread with making a ugly overlap. Stairs should have a flush finish not a mounding that sits atop of your tread material. It's not very rounded and is made out of aluminum so it's not too easy to cut. I doubt overtime it holds up to heavy traffic.
