This durable prefinished engineered click real birch floor is easy to install Simply engage the long sides at an angle and press down. The flooring is crafted of five layers of solid wood permanently bonded together in a cross-ply design. No HDF or other fiber boards are utilized. The stability of this construction provides superior strength, humidity resistance, and installation options (glue-less, floating, or glue down). The aluminum oxide finish provides 10 times more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. Our company has been manufacturing wood floors to exacting standards in Johnson City, Tennessee for over 110 years.

Didn't have any reviews to go by, saw the sample in HD and liked the color and grain. Was not interested in a "busy" looking floor. The grain is simple not many knots, color and grain pretty uniformed. It has a nice rich dark brown color, brown shows as brown and not red. Just getting started on installation and the person we have doing it has said its pretty easy, easy than other floors he installed. Do not go by the color on line, looks nothing like it. Best is to see it in the store, but not all HD has it in their display area. I took more than 1 of their small samples to get a better look at it at home in different lighting.. Arrived at the store for pick up 1 week earlier than schedueled. This is a click install floor, you will need a foam padding underneath, no nailing needed. It's thin and light but durable. No scratches so far..Very pleased with this purchased.

Great look and quality
If you like the look of natural wood, this is an excellent product. Like all natural wood products, beware that within a box, or even across several boxes, there may or may not be some darker pieces. If you want a random look with a few dark interspersed with the more numerous lighter pieces, make sure you open at least six boxes and scout them all out. I've found only two poor quality planks in two pallets worth, so overall quality is quite high in my sampling. Assembly was painless, although plan to tap the edges with a setting block on every joint. Overall, very impressed with this product, and will continue to do all rooms in my house using it.

we had 890 sq ft installed by professional and he said it was a good product. floor is beautiful. would not recommend this flooring if you have a dog or large family. we're two very careful old people, 80 and 78, floor was installed in January 2016 and I hate finding scratches
