Worked great on rocky ground - no slip and sliding. They did a have the tendency to move around and had to reposition them after standing up. This was the first time I have used knee pads and were the most comfortable pads I tested a the store. And the price was right .

They are reasonably comfortable and priced right. Heavy duty Velcro takes a little effort to unfasten, but that also means they don't inadvertantly come loose.
