Genisis Handscraped Hickory Coco
This floor started out to be a difficult challenge to "lock and click" and it is not the worlds easiest floor to install as described by the manufacture. But after four or five feet of pure aggravation the product did become somewhat easier to install once you get the "hang of it". In the end when all said and done the floor does look amazing. I floated this floor over a slab and actually screwed my spacers to the wall because of the force and pressure needed to snap the boards together. I had a hard time snaping the ends together because the black slide tab that is suppose to lock the ends of the two boards together did not work properly all the time. It seemed to be easier at times to slide the ends in first and then push the length of the board into the board already installed on the floor for what it is worth. The boards do chip, scratch and splinter easily so you must be careful everytime you install a board.

Durability terrible
I have had this flooring for 3 1/2 months and the look is beatiful but durability is terrible. I am not sure how this flooring receives a rating as a 4 on the hardness scale. If you drop anything slightly heavy on it, it dents and scratches very easily. I have been able to cover the dents with a stain pen but it does not hide the scratches. The flooring has a beautiful worn look but in lots of areas it is rough and can catch and pull up leaving, exposed light hickory. The other warning is that if you have slightly to very uneven subflooring, the floating affect is more like a trampoline. Very disappointed in the price and how it is holding up and we have only had it for several months. Worried what it will look like in a few years.

Scratches and Dents - Very Disappointed
This floor was a huge disappointment and I'm very sorry we every purchased it. We chose this floor because we liked how it looked, but on the day we installed it, sliding our fridge back into place after installation put huge indentation marks in the floor. In addition, the rep we spoke with when purchasing said the hardness rating should be fine with a pet as long as we kept the pets nails trimmed. There are so many scratches and dents, I am embarrassed to have people over to my home. In addition, if we drop anything, it seems like it puts a dent in it.
No one will take responsibility for the poor quality of the floor and everyone refers to their special warranty for pets and state they can't do anything. I will be paying to buy something else and will chose another home improvement retailer for my future purchases.
Long story short, if you have kids, pets, or ever plan to move something across it or accidentally drop something on it, buy something else!

Looks amazing when installed but.........
This flooring is absolutely beautiful when you FINALLY get it installed. It is VERY hard to get it to click together. VERY HARD!! I mean an NIGHTMARE. It can be floated or glued. I glued it, and everything else in my house. If you plan to float it then you may not have as much trouble, but I doubt it. The finished floor looks awesome. My issue is with the locking system the flooring incorporates. Flooring that costs this much should not be this hard to install. I am not a contractor but I am very experienced with this sort of work.

Looks good, but scratches and dents very easily
Looked great at first. But I've had this floor for about a year and our 25 pound dog as ruined the floor with his claws, it scratches very very easily. There is a section of the floor by the door that has deep gouges from his claws. It also dents very easily. I have dropped silver wear when i was putting it away and a fork's handle put a pencil sized hole/dent in the floor. My wife dropped a plastic door to the doggy door and it put a hole in the floor. We are already looking at replacing this floor because it looks terrible with all of the scratches. I would definitely tell anyone not to get this product unless you will never drop anything on it, not wear high heeled shoes, or have any pets.

Millstead Tawny Wheat Install
This was my first time installing wood flooring. I had looked for an engineered wood to install using the "float" method over a concrete floor for a few months. I finally settled on the Millstead brand from Home Depot. I found the quality to be well above average. t took me 1 day to lay 210 sq ft in my living room.I had bought the click together type. While it did not click together by hand, I did use a rubber mallet to tap each piece into place. It just took about 3-4 pieces to get the hang of it, after that the rest of it went together quickly. I just took my time on the first three rows to make sure everything was in place and i would end up with having a 1" strip for the final row. I would do it again and use the Milstead brand and I would also recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent product. Timely delivery.
This is a excellent flooring product. I installed approximately 200 square feet without difficulty. The indiviual planks are consistantly uniform, as is the very nice finish. When "clicking" planks together, I found it helpful to utilize a "tapping-block" (from a previous laminate product) as a plank is rotated into place, and a small "pull-bar" for the final edge strips of flooring.

Wood Flooring
Excellent engineered wood. Finish is very rich in color and shiny. Installation was easy, wastage during install is very minimal, like 2% of total area. I had mine installed by a professional and covered an area of approx. 900 sq. ft. and there was consistent quality throughout. I strongly recommend this product.
