This is the third floor I have put down with this level of Pergo. The others were easy. This one has been a nightmare. I had thought the edges were chipping because of lack of quality control. However it seems two boxes were damaged in shipping. I could see where something had been stacked on top and one box was hit by a forklift. You do have quality control problems as almost every board with a knot pattern in the middle showed smudged ink. I cut of ends off damaged pieces trying to complete my wife's kitchen. I still had to order another box and it was usual high quality with no smearing in the pattern. At $7.00 a board I would think your inspection department would be more thorough. In short it appears you dumped your seconds on us. It was junk, and my friends agree. You make no friends dumping your scrap on internet customers. My other two attached rooms would have been the same Pergo. Certainly that will not happen now. Disgusted. Your rating is a 1 in a scale of 1 to 10.

And before you do anything, check the box for damage. 1 of 2 of ours was damaged and every plank in it. If the box comes bent or taped, take it to the store immediately.

I searched for a wood laminate for months, looking at the color, pattern, texture and finish when...I searched for a wood laminate for months, looking at the color, pattern, texture and finish when I stumbled upon a lone sample of this in the wrong section of the local Home Depot. I also hadn’t intended to pay quite this much. But this flooring hit every mark that I wanted and no others were close. It’s beautiful! It’s very neutral and matches the coastal blue walls perfectly, it looks fantastic with white trim, and it has about the same sheen as an eggshell paint with just the right amount of wood grain-like texture worked into the pattern. I could’ve gone for a slightly less knotty pattern, but everything else about it is so fabulous that it doesn’t bother me. It’s completely worth the price, and I get lots of complements!

My wood paneled walls are dark and I was trying to avoid a cabin look. The lighter color does brighten up the place and it gives the appearance of more space, as compared to the previous carpeting and vinyl tiles. The quality of the product is very good. I had a contractor from Home Advisor install the flooring. Although I could have done the work, the contractor had all the necessary tools. In addition, hallways and borders can be very difficult for any layman. The contractor spent 4 hours on my hallway alone. His fee was very reasonable and I was impressed with the final product.

The Home Depot experience was great. Unfortunately the quality of...The Home Depot experience was great. Unfortunately the quality of the Pergo floor was not good. About 25% of the planks had scratches along one edge. The packaging was not damaged so this damage was done at the factory. I just used some and was able to use some along the wall.

Just completed my installation of this flooring. Process goes relatively...Just completed my installation of this flooring. Process goes relatively easy, but first few rows can be troublesome. Need proper tools to secure boards together. The look and feel is very nice.
