Beautiful tile, poor 3rd party vendors
This tile is beautiful. However, the vendor it comes from (not Home Depot) is terrible. They sent me not one too tiny sample, but two. The first was laughable at 6x2.5, the second is only slightly bigger, at 6x2.75. I complained to HD after the first incorrect sample was sent (because 6x6 isn't really big enough to get an accurate idea of how it might look anyway, and smaller is even worse), and they refunded my money and then had the vendor send me another sample. Just like he said he would, the HD associate put a note on the order to make sure someone actually looked at the sample before it got sent to me. Clearly either someone at the vendor is lazy and didn't bother checking yet again, or they thought I wouldn't realize it was not remotely the right size. Either way, I know I can't trust this vendor to do their job properly, which means I will not purchase their expensive tile and they lose my business. It's a shame because I really like this tile, but I just won't risk another screw up, especially when it would be quite an expensive order. I'll find a good tile sample in store that I like when I go there to return these two samples.
