Tiles keep buckling at the front tires of a truck that I park on it. I don't turn the tires while not moving but I do turn them to get the vehicle as close to the wall as possible. A day later and the tile will be buckled. The floor was primed and when I pulled it up the glue was stuck to the floor. I had a painted floor and I switched to this tile because the paint didn't last at the tire location. Very disappointed, this was a lot of work. Not sure how to keep this from happening.

Review of raceday 24 x 24 in peel and stick diamond tread slate grey polyvinyl tile
Originally bought 11 boxes and one must have been returned because it was opened, and the backing paper had shoe markings where someone had walked on all ten tiles. (That probably is from the home depot.)
The various problems with the poly vinyl:
1. Tires stained the vinyl
2. After the tiles were down a while the tiles started shrinking.
3. Where we parked the car, 4 tiles came up.
4. Under our motorcycle, 2 tiles came
5. The directions for installation were very vague as to arrows on some tiles not on all.
6. The tiles were not uniform dimensions, not completely square. They had to be put down like a
puzzle.
7. Instructions were followed as to priming the cement floor and tiles came up and the glue stayed on cement not on tiles.
My overall review is that it seems misrepresentation of how the product would last and look.
Especially the price is high for what was advertised and i expected a premium product.

2' x 2' Race day tile
After about 6 months this my experience.
1)The tiles varied in size right out of then box. Plus or minus 1/6". This did not bother me.
2)Tires stained the tiles. This is not covered by the warranty
3) Some tiles shrank. The warranty covered this. They sent me some replacements.
4) The tiles are moving front to back and left to right. I think it is caused by the car just driving on them.
5) When I replaced the ones that shrank I used a heat gun and the glue stayed on the floor not on the tile.
6) Before I purchased these I called the company about the heat rating on the glue. I was told 160 degree F. I believed this would eliminate the tire lift and keep the tiles in place up to 160 degrees F.

Not so easy to install, but look great!
Just be aware, these tiles are EXTREMELY difficult to cut. They don't score and snap like other vinyl tiles. I asked in the Q & A how to cut them, and the respondent, for whatever reason, assumed I had tried to cut them with a "craft knife" (maybe because that's what is shown in the instructions). No, I had a big honkin' Stanley Fatmax utility knife and it literally didn't even make a dent (which is sort of a good thing - I think it would probably take some effort to actually damage a floor covered with this stuff). I even took one poor tile, mangled by a saw blade (which, by the way, was history in about 3 seconds) back to Home Depot, and the guys in the flooring department couldn't cut it with their presumably sharp linoleum knives, either. I ended up buying a sheet metal cutter, which cuts them pretty easily if you don't mind hand cramps and excruciating blisters. If you are laying whole tiles, only, though, installing them is super-easy. Someone asked if water would cause them to lift (they got a bad answer, too). Seriously, these boogers stick so well that I think if they had used them on the Titanic they'd still be stuck to it. I live in Maine, which in winter means salt, sand, mud and water being tracked into the house. I purchased them to use at my kitchen door, because I just laid a new kitchen floor (Trafficmaster Ceramica - easy peasy) and I didn't want all that gunk on my new tiles. Overall, I am very pleased with the result, but I think if I use them again in an area where a lot of tiles need to be cut and fitted, I will have someone else install it.
