0ne third of the boards had either water damage or physical damage. 90% of the boards are under 2 ft. in length, which makes the flooring look patchy. Home Depot blames the problem on Blue Ridge Hardwoods (manufacturer), and Blue Ridge blames Home Depot. I have no way to determine who is right.

When laying hardwood it's important that widths consistent in each row or you will wind up with spacing between boards. The mill should only work their woods after properly dried.

Not what it was supposed to beHad to exchange 4 of 14 boxes because of damaged wood and will return 2 more boxes we couldn't use because of being damaged. The first return held up the project 4 days because we had to let it acclimate. Was planning on continuing the wood floor into my living room and hallway but I will now have to reconsider. . Granted it looks nice down, but by no means is it "select" wood as we were told when purchasing it. More than 50% of the larger boards were not usable. This was not inexpensive flooring either.

Beautiful woodThe wood looks great but the dimensions are not very precise, like width, causing some small gaps, also some boards are just too long and a little warped, meaning not totally straight so you have to prey them straight.
