This durable prefinished engineered click real wood floor is easy to install, simply engage the long sides at an angle and rotate down. Makes a creaking/popping noise when you walk on it that is annoying. We added new subfloor, used the underlayment as suggested, & had a professional install the floors. Huge disappointment.

The finishes on those floors were great and they 'snapped' together easily for a tight, professional look. However, the Heritage Mill product was a nightmare. What was most troublesome was that all the planks were not true, meaning you could 'lock' one end to the adjacent already installed plank with a clean, tight fit, but the other end would not lock because the plank was off, consequently leaving a gap between planks at one end. After encountering this problem several times and then cutting and gluing adjacent planks to force them to fit, I quit and returned the product for flooring by a different manufacturer. Would not recommend Heritage Mill products.

FORMALDEHYDEThis product contains Formaldehyde as warned in the instructions. I installed this product and found the chemical smell from the wood to be overwhelming even after a few days. It irriated my eyes (burning), nose (bleeding) and throat (sore). I had to return it.
