The flooring arrived on a pallet via freight truck, so less chance of it being damaged. I have had flooring delivered via UPS before and ended up having to return some boxes because they were so smashed up the majority of the pieces were broken. I was very impressed with the thickness of the flooring, it is as thick as a solid hardwood floor! The color is absolutely gorgeous, I couldn't be happier with it! It went down very easy with and clicked right together! I couldn't find my flooring installation bar so I used a rubber mallet and a 2x4 and it worked great! The flooring feels nice and sturdy when walking on it, not like some other laminate that it feels like it bends and moves under your feet at the seams when you walk on it. Very impressed when you step on it, no noise and it feels nice and sturdy but yet soft on your feet! I was so happy with color and thickness of the floor that I changed my plans on the room I was going to use it in, and ordered 3 more cases of it so that I could use it in my bedroom. You won't be disappointed with this high quality laminate flooring!

It looks nice, however it chips easily.
Tools you'll need rubber mallet, measuring tape, pry bar, nice to have on hand well on knees are padded knee protectors. I made a block of 2x4 with a groove along the length for tapping in the floor and not damage the tongue. lay your underlayment the flooring needs to have been sitting in the room your doing for a couple days. Find your start point.= to lay the flooring put a board vertical to the previous board, placing the length on edge and fold down, Leave room for expansion. Stager joints for strength and aesthetics. tap as needed with your 2x4 for a tight fit. Cut the flooring from the bottom to help prevent chips. When you come to a door jam, take your multi tool trim the bottom of the jam to slide the flooring up underneath. Caulk any mistakes.

The Signal Creek laminate is attractive, and very solid, with one exception. The ridges on the to...The Signal Creek laminate is attractive, and very solid, with one exception. The ridges on the tongues on the short sides of the planks are flimsy, and tend to break off. We quickly learned that we had to be very gentle when snapping the planks together, and we still ruined six planks in the course of installing around 81 square feet of flooring. It did, however, look and feel pretty good when we were done. We´ll see how well it holds up on a surface that´s not perfectly level.
