This trowel feels great in my hand. I set a fair amount of tile throughout the course of the year and I have tried many branded trowels. Most of the others are either too bulky or simply too flimsy for my personal taste. When it comes to the Ridgid line of trowel I can use them all day without hand fatigue or loss of performance from the trowel. The finish seems to clean with relative ease thus far and I can appreciate the necessity for maintaining a clean trowel throughout the process of laying tile. With the correct mud mixture this trowel delivers consistent lines over the entire length of the trowel face. I am pleased with this one and will be purchasing other in the near future for the other needs of notch sizes and shapes.

Homedepot really needs to carry these in storesAs you can see from my reviews and my handle you can assume I am a Ridgid fan. But by no means am I blind. I know when there is quality and when there is not. Ridgids new line of tile tools continues to impress me. I love the comfort, the durability and ease of cleaning. I love this entire line so much that I went out and made it my objective to get every Ridgid tile tool Ridgid has to offer. Great tools at a fair price.

I really love these Ridgid stainless steel gold finished trials. There Just built so heavy duty, ...I really love these Ridgid stainless steel gold finished trials. There Just built so heavy duty, and feel great in the hands.
The hard Polly plastic handle is so smooth, and I love the Ridgid logo. The way it's designed is ergonomically perfect, and keeps the wrist in a neutral position while using it.
The 1/4 x 3/8 square notchs leaves perfect groves in the thin set every time, and the ground down edges keeps you from making a mess while applying.
This is a great, pro use trial that anyone would be happy to use. It will definitely last for many years to come!

It's very durable and the ergo grip feels great in your hand. It's lightweight and the rubber grip makes it easy to keep control. The blade finish is nice and cleans very well. I do a lot of tile and will be purchasing the full line. Great tool. Highly recommend.
