This product disappoints
We had professional installation of this product and the appearance is as expected. The unexpected is the sound when walked upon--sounding like bubble wrap. When we contacted Home Legends the response was very scripted, "The noise will stop within a month of installation." It didn't quiet and the service about our complaint has been negative, an adjustor came to our home and gathered info and now the manufacturer says it was incorrectly installed, that our floor was unsuitably uneven, that there is no fault in the product. We used the best underlayment and while there is one uneven place in the concrete below, the entire floor continues to creak and pop five months later. We feel we have no recourse but to replace it with another product at our expense--meanwhile we feel as if we have a poorly made modular addition we're embarrassed to invite friends into because of the noise. We will not replace with this product but don't know what to do since it'll be at our expense--including installation.

NOT worth the money and effort.Floor wasn't too hard to install. However it is not acting like true hardwood and can be spongy in places if you use anything but the glue down method and the thickest option. My biggest complaint is it scratches SO easily and I haven't found anything that will work for a touch-up. There is some kind of sealant on the surface that even felt tip marker pens made for wood touchup won't work. I'm having to buy new vacuum cleaners especially for wood floors to keep the scratches to a minimum. Also had to put felt on everything in the house. VERY hard to keep clean. It shows every hair and piece of lint. Water marks are hard to get off, so I haven't found a cleaner that works yet. And the floor is quite slippery, so if you have flat soles on your shoes or are in socks, beware. You can literally ice skate on this floor. I wouldn't do this again. Trust me, don't bother. Install the ceramic tile that looks like wood and you'll be much happier. Same warm look, not nearly the maintenance.

Pretty good, but...There are some details that I wish I had known prior to buying this flooring. I ordered about 26 boxes online and also purchased several boxes in store. There appear to be two different box types for this flooring, one has ONLY full length pieces and one has some smaller "random" length pieces and also full length pieces. If you are picking boxes in store look for boxes that are marked as "length planks" on the side, these are the boxes with ONLY full length planks. Boxes don't have this marking also have the shorter pieces.
Also, be careful when installing, some planks do not lock together well. It appears that different batches can have small differences in the locking groves which prevent the boards from lying flat when locked together. This will create bubbles in the floor.
And one more thing. The finish variation between the boxes can be pretty large. Some have a lot of red in the finish and some are more grey. Seems like the quality control is pretty loose.

Pretty good, scrapes a littleI installed this floor about a year ago in our master bedroom and throughout the hallway. I installed it by myself in about 8 hours, so not too bad at all. It looks really nice and I have overall been happy with it. We have two dogs, and it has stood up to them pretty well. In some places if you get down on your knees and look sideways in the right light you can see some scratches but nothing when you are walking on it. We have no problems with it cracking or anything like that, and I used the cheapest underlayment I could find. It will definitely scratch if you drop heavy things on it, I was moving the top part of a heavy wooden desk and it fell and left a mark, but I think that would have happened with regular hardwood floors too. Overall a good value and I am happy with it.
For those looking for a reasonably priced solution for not having carpet, I honestly would consider laminate floors over these though, they make some really nice laminates that look like real wood floors basically and are almost indestructible. Just something to consider.

Wonderful floor and Price!I searched high and low for the perfect floor. I removed all of the carpeting from my four bedroom home and replaced it with this flooring. Homedepot had the best price and I was so thrilled with the fast shipping and finished results! I had my contractor install them in 4 days for $2.00 a square foot, they did an excellent job. It even looked better than I thought. I get so many compliments on it and it looks way more expensive. It has beautiful brown and reddish tones with natural black toasted beveled edgges and the wide planks or so designer. I didnt go cheap on the underlayment. I brought the 3-1 roberts and it was worth it. I had my stairs rebuilt and finished the pine wood threads (also from homedepot) with minwax red mahogany, one coat was a perfect match to the floors. I'm so thrilled! other competitors couldn't beat home depots price. The floor doesnt scratch easily but don't have metal furniture rub across them. I made sure to add felt pads to all of my furniture legs. If you do get a scratch it will be white but u can take a soft cloth with cooking oil and rub it across the scratch lightly and you won't see it anymore.

Maple Sedona looks fantastic! We changed out our 8yr old carpet to this Maple Sedona in 3 rooms ranging from 100-130sq ft. each room over the course of 2 months. The surface looks fantastic, it feels great on your feet and does not scratch easily; Even with a pool table and 2 small children it has remained looking like new for 3 months now.
The product was easy to install and we used Roberts Black Jack underlayment for the float, which was also easy to unroll and use while click-locking the wood in place. Cutting the wood is necessary in some areas, but it did not chip easily and was easy enough to cut with a table saw.
In terms of quality to value, I think it's top notch and beats out any laminate flooring hands down. I only gave this 4 stars because their accompanying/matching products such as T-Moulding and Carpet Recessors are made of MDF and are sub-par quality.

Love itWe installed this floor this past weekend (we used 3 1/2 inch wide panels, which are now discontinued, but otherwise, it's the same product). I don't usually take the time to review products, but it was so easy to install, and it really looks gorgeous, so I wanted to share this with others. We put a ceramic click lock floor in the foyer, and it was SO much work...this floor was a breeze, even fun to install. One thing I love is that the wood has a wax coating to protect it. I spilled my water bottle while insalling, and it just beaded up on the wood. The wax is a great barrier and will help it last. I would definitely recommend this product.

At he $ 2.67 per foot, plus the underlayment padding I dont believe it can be topped. Aluminum Oxide finish absolutely protects.
