The #10 3.5 oz. Acrylic Wood Filler helps to fill in gouges, small scratches and holes on your flooring. This filler dries in as little as 4 hours for easy use. Squeeze filler into area and smooth with fingers or damp cloth. Fill areas greater than 1/4 in. in layers, allowing 4 hours drying time between applications. Clean-Up: Wipe off excess filler immediately using a clean white cloth dampened with warm water before material hardens. Do not rub so hard that the finish becomes polished. Keep from freezing. Hardened material may be removed with odorless mineral spirits after allowing the materials to soften for 5 minutes. Designed to coordinate with Tigerwood Natural, Cobbler Brown, Sand Dune, Grand Canyon, Honey, Butterscotch, Ash Natural, Maple Natural and Gunstock colored hardwood flooring.

Bruce Acrylic Wood Filler blends perfectly.Contractors doing renovations in my house dropped a hammer and made some small gouges in the flooring. I called Armstrong to get the correct color for my Butterscotch solid oak wood floor. My flooring had been perfect for the past 10 years with no dents at all. I was so disappointed the contractors carelessly gouged it and I wanted to make sure I used the best possible product to fix it. After much research, I decided to go with Armstrong Bruce Acrylic Wood Filler and I was not disappointed. I steamed the area with a wet rag and iron first to raise the broken area as much as possible. Then I filled the area of the wood that was broken and gouged through the finish. This material does shrink in deep gouges so I applied a second layer per the instructions. It hardens to make the perfect patch that can stand up to heavy foot traffic. Then I sealed the patched areas with Bruce Fresh Finish Urethane Top Coat which my local Lowes had in stock. The top coat was very easy to apply with a slighly dampened sponge. My husband was so pleased with the results, too. Contractors! Please protect wood flooring pathways with carpets, heavy paper or plastic for the entire duration working in a house doing renovations. I'm sure glad I found the right thing to fix my flooring and make it look perfect again. It blends so good that I really have a hard time finding the patches. I drew some darker grain patterns on one patch with a Minwax cherry stain stick and it really looks good, too. The filler comes in many colors coded for all the various woods flooring Armstrong manufactures. The urethane top coat is special to hold up on the abuse flooring gets and can be used to recoat the entire floor which I will do soon.

The cap on the tube isn't airtight and arrived with filler hardened in the tube nozzle. I picked out the obstruction and the filler flowed into the gaps as expected. The filler dried hard and has stayed in place. Matching the color to the floor was a challenge and my color selection turned out too red. It was hard to find the color samples online. During use the sealed end of the tube split and now the filler is hardened there too. So use it once to fill all your gaps but don't plan on getting a second chance.

Bought this to replace a tube that was given to us when the floor was installed. It's the same th...Bought this to replace a tube that was given to us when the floor was installed. It's the same thing, and works well for small places. I wouldn't use it for anything wider than about 1/8", as it would be pretty noticeable. It's good for filling small nail holes that that type of thing.

matches my floor thats what is importantcolor matches my butterscotch hardwood floors easy to use and clean up ( be careful and do not drip where you do not want it , i was not as careful as i could have been but it cleaned up easy)
