Our company purchased this padding to place underneath a new carpet we had specially made for a tech conference. The carpet was more of a short durable Berber style, which we would be standing on for long periods of time. So, thickness and comfort were our primary focus areas when we considered this padding. Amazingly, the padding was very firm and light and was easy to cut and lay out. The initial feel of the padding under our carpet was very nice and immediately noticed by everyone walking on it. However, after standing for any time longer than a couple of hours, that comfort level greatly decreased. I could only attribute this to the padding thickness, it just wasn't thick enough to stand the test of long hours of prolonged standing and traffic. I believe this padding in a thicker version would have been perfect. Overall, not a bad padding, just not the best option for long periods of standing in place.

Had some water damage from a broken water heater, the...Had some water damage from a broken water heater, the carpet was bought at Home Depot, went online to buy same pad for repair. Like the moisture barrier on the pad and was glad to get the same pad. The thickness works perfectedly with the Loop carpet I purchased.
