Traffic Master warranty is worthless and Home Depot does not back up this poor product. I owned this flooring for 6 years. It looked awful after just 3 years. Contacted Traffic Master at year 3 and did everything they recommended to fix and it didn’t work. At year 6 I couldn’t stand it anymore and filed a warranty claim with Traffic Master. They made me jump thru quite a few hoops to prove the flooring was defective and eventually denied my supposedly ‘Life Time Warranty’. Flooring was supposed to hold up to just about anything. My issue was just simple scuff marks that wouldn’t go away using Traffic Masters guidance and recommended remedies. I went through the trouble to send them samples of the damaged flooring and they even admitted the flooring was permanently damaged from scuff marks, but since their recommended methods to remove scuff marks didn’t work I must have abused it or did something wrong. Really??? My household consists of 2 senior adults and 2 yorkie dogs! Bottom line, DON’T buy this flooring.

easy to work with.
Bought this to put in my 2nd bathroom, over the ceramic tile. I liked this product because A) it is supposedly waterproof; and b) if i didnt like it or messed it up, I could easily remove it, and revert back to my tile floor.
This product is very easy to work with. I'm not handy in any sense of the word, but after watching a bunch of youtube install videos, you get the general sense of how to install it.
Here are my tips for installation:
1. buy a pair of heavy duty scissors, i bought some 'tinning' scissors that i think are generally used for cutting thin aluminum, and even vinyl siding. it makes cutting the planks around door mouldings and the toilet ring easier. i picked up a pair of $14 ones from HD.
2. measure twice and take your time when preparing for a cut. i messed up 2 planks, by cutting the wrong side.
3. order at least one extra box for screw ups. my job is 90% done, and i just need 5 more planks. i feel stupid for having to wait for a 3rd box to be delivered.

It's been about 4 months since I finished installing throughout my 1300 sq ft house. I actually enjoyed installing it. You will get better at it as you go along. Mistakes will happen, don't fret, just get another plank and try again. For hallways and room transitions, you definitely want to get a cheap heat gun and the Allure extra grip strip pack and roll of double sided tape. They are both inexpensive. Just cut an inch off the back with heat gun and blade, add the double sided tape, and then a new piece of grip strip. This will also make the flooring go a lot farther for mistakes you make here and there. It's kind of difficult to comprehend until you actually start doing the work.
I used a drywall T square to make cuts. i also went through several pack of utility knife blades. I went right over the concrete slab. I have a lower level corner where my 1970s slab settled and cracked. This floor flexed right over it, no problem so far. I'm really happy with the flooring.

Good value
This looks great and installs easy, but don't kid yourself. This is vinyl. and so it acts like vinyl. All the weaknesses of vinyl apply here. That said, all the upsides to vinyl apply as well. In our house we work and play hard, and this stuff cleans up well. Important Tips: the packaging is poor, so make sure you inspect the sticky strip of each plank before you put it down. A few planks had paper stuck to them that would not come off, so we didn't use those planks. Also use the vinyl floor sticky tape under edges that are not covered (Like sliding glass doors).
Yes you can reposition the planks if you make a mistake, but don't do that more than once. For full length cuts, clamp the piece to the edge of a table using a straight edge like a metal yard stick or a 1x2. Use the straight edge as a guide for your scoring. Yes it only needs to be scored and snapped. If you can see the score line clearly, that is enough to snap it.
12 boxes installed 2 weeks ago. works great. People think it is real wood.

Surprisingly easy!
I was expecting something along the lines of snap wood flooring or the sticky vinyl tile that has to have a super clean floor. I was extremely surprised at how easily it adhered to each other and how quickly I was able to lay it down.
The only thing I recommend to people who by this is to do your measurement when coming to an edge BEFORE you attempt lay it. Once this stuff touches its counterpart, it's does its job and is VERY hard to remove. Also, when laying the pieces together be sure to place it exactly on the line of where you want it to stick. If you attempt to "slide" it into place the sticky glue becomes stretched and will retract back to where you originally slid it from, creating a small gap.
It took me about 10 minutes to figure out where to start and how I wanted the pattern to go and then 2 hours to lay/measure/cut it. The only tool needed was my trusty tape measure and a utility blade. It turned out beautiful!
Fully recommended to beginners and even experts. Much better option for a bathroom or other moisture high areas!

This is a beautiful, easy to install, and easy to maintain floor
I love this floor. We purchased over 1400 sq. ft. of this flooring to cover every room on the first floor or our home and it is wonderful. My husband put it in by hisself over old vinyl sheet floor and beat up concrete. I have two dogs and a 7-year-old in the house and it was impossible to keep carpet clean and painted concrete unscratched. This floor has resisted scratches from moving furniture, dropping dishes, and dog claws. There have been unseen spills that have sat on the floor for probably half a day but when wiped up they leave no damage to the floor. It is so easy to maintain I just sweep it everyday and wipe up spills or muddy paw and foot prints with a damp rag. Everyone that has seen it thinks it's hardwood. We installed the floor so we could eventually sell the house but I love it so much that now I want to stay. I couldn't be happier with it and recommend it to anyone with kids and pets or anyone who just wants the look of hardwood throughout the house including the bathrooms and kitchen. It's a great product for the price.

Overall, I am happy with this product. My husband and I did it and there were no major issues with installation... and we are flooring noobs. This was the first time either of us did anything like this. I do wish that this floor had more of a shiny finish, but that's hindsight. I thought it would be more shiny than it ended up being. I LOVE how this floor looks wet, it really brings out the rich warm chocolate color. We didn't need any tools other than a box cutter, pair of scissors, a ruler, and a pencil.
That being said, because it's matte, it shows everything. EVERYTHING. Scuff marks from my dog's nails (not scratches, just shiny lines), the direction you mop, dirty dog prints, etc. This is probably my least favorite thing about the floor. I think this concept is great, but I really wish they had one that was more shiny or some sort of polish/etc that could be put over it. I think it would REALLY improve the looks. And maybe not show my lack of perfect mop lines...
Pros:
Easy to install
Relatively easy to cut
Looks good
Waterproof
Cons
The grip strip seemed to attract my German Shepherd's hair and we had to keep cleaning them
The matte finish shows EVERYTHING
Lots of instructions as far as what you can and can't clean it with
So yes, overall, I'd recommend this flooring if you know what you're getting into. I have to admit, if I were to do it all over again, I would go with something shinier, just because I didn't think the matte finish would drive me insane. But the product isn't all that bad.

I purchased this flooring when it was relatively new to market, about six or seven years ago. Installation went well, floor looks great. Being what I consider atypical - older adult with no kids or pets, even for visits, the floor has worn well. No marks or evident wear, no floods or sunshine beating down on the floor. However, what is evident is the vinyl shrinks over time. I now have gaps forming between strips, especially strips that were cut narrow in length. They shrink in both directions and leave large gaps. So, if you're wondering how long this flooring will last... the appearance is still great - other than the growing gaps between planks. The thinner the plank, the quicker and larger the gap. Not every joint shows shrinkage but eventually a joint will have to 'take one for the team' and a cumulative gap will appear. If you're willing to replace every six or seven years this is a great product. Now the product is only available in 6 x 36 lengths so you know how that warranty is going to play out for those of us that bought the 4 x various length style.
