Traffic Master warranty is worthless and Home Depot does not back up this poor product. I owned this flooring for 6 years. It looked awful after just 3 years. Contacted Traffic Master at year 3 and did everything they recommended to fix and it didn’t work. At year 6 I couldn’t stand it anymore and filed a warranty claim with Traffic Master. They made me jump thru quite a few hoops to prove the flooring was defective and eventually denied my supposedly ‘Life Time Warranty’. Flooring was supposed to hold up to just about anything. My issue was just simple scuff marks that wouldn’t go away using Traffic Masters guidance and recommended remedies. I went through the trouble to send them samples of the damaged flooring and they even admitted the flooring was permanently damaged from scuff marks, but since their recommended methods to remove scuff marks didn’t work I must have abused it or did something wrong. Really??? My household consists of 2 senior adults and 2 yorkie dogs! Bottom line, DON’T buy this flooring.

Only been installed for a week, but love it so farWe installed the TrafficMaster Allure Ultra flooring in our downstairs powder room to replace the original hideous builder's linoleum. Once my husband removed the toilet & sink I proceeded to install the floor myself - it was very, very easy. While there were no instructions actually included in the box, I found two versions of a manual (one Home Depot's, the other the manufacturer's) online that had good tips. An extra tip that I found really helpful was to invest in a pair of snips - I used them to make an initial cut on the side of a plank before I snapped it. This was especially useful as my razor blade started to dull & did not score the plank as deeply. Other than that the installation was without incident - the product looks great, performed as touted, and hopefully proves to be durable. We chose this lighter shade of "wood" to go with the room's beachy feel, and were very happy with the coloring, faux grain texture, and variety of patterns. Overall would definitely recommend this to others.

We finally ordered our last bedroom flooring, unfortunately they changed the interlocking tong and groove since 2015 when we had ordered the bulk of the house.
I was not able to use the leftover 3 boxes from the original order. This was very disappointing and costly.
Other than this most recent issue we are very happy with the modern look of the aspen oak color. The durability is great for kids, mopping, dogs, scratch resisting and clean up.
We got a few decent scratches that I used a black touch up crayon on, covered it pretty well.
All in all I would rate this a five star if not for the changing of the groove.
We didn’t use any underlay or paint, put it on 10 year old bare concrete.
Only tools needed are a square, sharp utility knife and extra blades, a hammer to tap things as needed. I used a powered miter/chop saw on the most recent batch and it went much faster. It will kill your blade though.

looks very goodOnce you have a system going its not bad to install. If you have a long run of more than 3 planks its best to have help. Attach the ends first and then tilt the whole run up and insert to previous row. I found that a piece of wood to tap rows together worked really well. Be very cautious not to damage the edge or the next row will not go together correctly. The wood block does not sit directly on the floor, it sits on the small lip and taps against the top edge of plank, This really tightened up the horizontal joints. I installed this product in my kitchen/dinning area and had some fancy cuts around cabinets. The utility knife works o.k. but your hand will get sore. I found that a knife blade in my hand held jig saw worked fantastic. Smooth cut and saved my hand. I did notice that the vertical joints did not always stay really tight as the horizontal joints did. I think the planks were not as square as they needed to be.(FROM THE FACTORY) About 1/3 of them had a small dark line after installation.

The first two strips are the hardest as you will get on the learning curve. After the third row, it's fine. And.... fit the pieces on a shallow angle, and wiggle them in to close the gaps; then tap with the tapping block.
Finished a 12x12 in a day, including cuts to ac vents and trims all around doing everything by myself.
It looks great like I said.
Definitely.... not for harsh chemicals... wife tested a leftover cut with hair coloring and it stains... and probably, don't use clorox or strong stuff to clean it. Soap and water is just find but again, don't douse it. It's water resistant being vinyl, but water has a thing to sip through any microscopic gap and will get to the subfloor, but then, the same will happen with engineered hardwood or laminates and these will swell - not these planks.

It took me 10 years to finally find a flooring that I liked for my kitchen and I love it. I also own rental and install this too. I have used several hardy floor options (online similar for less $, previous Go To rental floor was vinyl floor tile and a few ceramic) over the past 20 years and TM Allure Ultra is by far my favorite. Easy to install, DURABLE!!!, looks fantastic, floating. My only issue was my kitchen was my first time and I did goof on connecting the planks but not too bad. My mom liked it so much she installed it in her basement. The selection of patterns only has a few (distinctive faux nots) that one would need to be careful of the placement. After 3 years, looks as good as new- with 3 kids who enter the house on this floor, snow, mud, ski boots, and all. No separation or fading (only two north facing windows). Highly recommend only using interlocking planks. Make sure base floor is smooth as any small bumps with reappear.

Looks great, Installation terribleSaw Allure with glue strip at my son's, looked great. I purchased the Allure Ultra which has a click together system. Product looks great uninstalled, getting it clicked together is next to impossible. A good seam can open up a row or two later during the installation, I gave up going back to try and close them up. I am not sure why because the seams were locked together. Some joints are beautiful while others have gaps. I took two 30' rows apart twice trying to fix the gaps without any luck, so I gave up and put it together with gaps. I am not finished with the room yet but people who have seen say it looks like the gaps you get with real wood. The look of the planks is beautiful and I really like the look, the click process is terrible. That's my opinion, you decide for yourself if you can live with gaps, the look and finish is great. I am a DIY'er, not a professional but I have built decks, house additions, installed all kinds of siding, finished basements, etc. I know my way around a tool belt.

I love my new floor! My sister and I installed this flooring in 2 rooms. The first 2 rows are a pain to start. I recommend using a 2x4 to place against the wall to do at least 3 rows then put in your spacers. The other thing to check for, sometimes where it snaps together, little pieces break off and you can't get a tight fit. Just make sure the track is clean of any debris. When doing around door jams it is easier to square your cuts and use sand less grout. It is easy to score and snap. It can be cut on the table saw or band saw and the top side looks perfect. You can leave your floor boards on (took mine off because I redid the walls) and add quarter round to cover the gap. I have 2 dogs (one big one small) that chase each other all the time and they haven't scratched the flooring. It's easy to clean. I'm really happy with my new floor and plan on doing 2 more rooms.
