This plank creates a beautiful floor. I have received two compliments already on this floor and it has only been done a few days. Both ladies asked me what the floor was made of and were surprised that it was vinyl plank. I have installed several floating floors and this has been the best experience. The flooring joined together better and easier than any floating floor I have used to date. I found a rubber mallet to be an essential tool to use for securing the seams. It worked better than the recommended seam roller. I also temporary taped each corner as I worked each tile to keep the tile from shifting when I would go to the next corner, tile or row. I removed them after a few hours just in case the seams would open up and none did. There is a lot of variation with the tiles which enhances it's realistic look. I will be installing this tile in my two bathrooms now that I am so happy with the floor. There really isn't anything I do not like about this product.

seams are very visableI have used other vinyl planking from this company and had no problems. However as others have mentioned the planks are not perfectly square and show gaps. The long edge does not seem to latch very well either. While they look nice and the patterns match from plank to plank, I decided to not waste my tile and instead go with something else.

I'm really having issues with the alignment on the end joints. They won't go flush with each other and stay that way. I do have to use a rubber mallet to get the joints to go together. I know the instructions tell you to use a seam roller, but I can't even push the ends together using my foot to press them down. I spent a lot of time putting it down, taking it back up, realigning it, putting it back down only to accomplish nothing. The floor moves too much. I'm thinking like Dot--butt the planks to the wall all around to minimize/restrict its movement or even use adhesive and glue it down. I'm really disappointed with the difficulty to conceal the joints. I feel sure it's not supposed to be this difficult.

This floor is solid vinyl and should work well in our bathrooms and laundry room. I downgraded the rating based on the difficulty of the installation. I have installed multiple laminate floors without issue. This floor was very difficult to align/click together so that the seams between the ends and sides were 'invisible." I will need to continue to work on the alignment before I put down the baseboard and trim so it may end up 'clean.' For now, the small gaps between SOME tiles are staring back at me.

They took-up the whole floor, and reinstalled it with adhesive, in the hope of getting better seams. The result was the same. The company owner came to evaluate the problem. He found that the original tile were not totally square; therefore the 12" seams could never "click" into place. This he said was a manufacturing mistake; and his company would never again try to install this brand of flooring.

Get what you pay forPer other reviews, the seams of this flooring don't lock together well or snugly. I did figure out to sit on the installed floor and tap the new piece toward me to help keep the seams tighter, but I have had to settle for a just okay installation. That said, I bought this for part of my basement - laundry area and bathroom - and for $2/sf I'm okay with its faults. It is supposed to be waterproof and I wanted to be prepared in case the area floods, which it has before. I do like the pattern of the tiles - I had one friend who thought it was real marble...but I can tell it is not.
