I have had an older version of this carpet with appropriate padding on my basement concrete floor...
I have had an older version of this carpet with appropriate padding on my basement concrete floor for about 14 years. My experience is that it does not seem to wear at all. When it get's dirty, it is easy to clean either spot cleaning, machine cleaning or just vacuuming. I am glad to see it, because I got some water in a section of the finished basement which I have to replace. It is a warm, inviting color and it feels good on bare feet.
