Love the look and care of this floor!
This floor is fantastic! It's durable (we have teenagers and an inside large "doodle dog"). The floor doesn't show dirt and is easy to clean...doesn't streak. My husband and 83 year old father put down 2000sq ft in less than a week. They continually commented about its ease of instillation and quality as they have laid a cheap laminate everal years ago.
The cons:
It is a tad darker than shown in the picture and is an online order only (not sold in stores). But not really enough to complain about or return.
Major con (why not 5 stars)
There are only 4 board patters and their reverse print. AND a box has several of the darker board print and only one or two lighter ones. So as you stagger the boards, you run out of certain boards. This got horrible in the last few rows when we were down to only two boards to choose from to lay. So since it was an online order, you couldn't just run and her another box (and even if you could, there's no way to predict which boards you would get). So plan accordingly.

Of all the boxes I used, not one piece was damaged in any way. I used a tapping block and soft-headed hammer to tap the boards into place and the seams don’t even show. I love how the underlayment is bonded with the flooring, saving me from installing that part separately. The finished product looks amazing (see pictures), not to mention 100% waterproof, scratch-resistent, and a lifetime warranty! I am so happy Home Depot carries this product – it was exactly what I was looking for! (non solid color, gray veining with soft whites to help brighten the room).

If you can, recommend doing one room first to work out the tricks. I've tried cutting these plank...If you can, recommend doing one room first to work out the tricks. I've tried cutting these planks with 3 kinds of utility knives without success, so I use a jigsaw. Measure your room carefully and plan the installation. Take great care when joining up planks and locking in the long and butt edges. Make sure seams are totally tight on butt and long ends before doing next plank. Use the tapping block on every plank. Check previous planks regularly for shifting or seams opening and fix while you still can. Make absolutely certain your first row is straight and secure. You can use the Z-shaped bar to tighten seams if you can't use the block (like tight to a wall), but only hang the short edge of the bar over the plank & keep it above the groove or you'll crush the groove when you tap the bar. Save your cut pieces and mistakes to use elsewhere. Practice using paper and tape to scribe patterns around doorway jambs. Get some comfy gel kneepads!

I have had so many compliments also-I was worried it was too grey but pulls the yellow out that is painted on the walls. It is pretty easy to put down. I have another color in both bathrooms!

The last product, Pergo, was installed by last owners, and they had a pipe burst. A little water got under the flooring in son's room.
Decided on the lifeproof Ocala oak. These are beautiful!!! A little darker than expected, but still looked good. I ordered and picked up at store. 24 cases. Out of the 24 cases, two pieces, had small chips on end. We used the at the end that needed cut and put in closet. Every other piece was perfect.
First of all, I am a middle aged female that knows a little bit about house projects. My son, age 16, and I, took up the Pergo, and installed one of the bedrooms ourselves. We wanted to get this done before my husband got home from his business trip. It was a piece of cake. Put down a barrier, being on concrete. Also, ordered the hammer recommended. No issues, except I made the cuts with a miter saw. Tried a knife with a new blade, and it was a no-go. Way too thick to get through. The one bedroom turned out great. The other bedroom, with the help from my husband, was done in half a day, instead of two days, it took my sons and I.
I highly recommend. I used a steak knife to scratch sample, not much was visible-I pressed my hardest. I soaked it overnight in water--no effect on it. I expect this to last a long time.
I am not sure why people had problems putting this down, I read instructions and look on you tube before starting.

Love the color. Love how thick the planks are and how soft they feel once they are down. Works great with my hydronic radiant heat floor. My biggest issue with these is the finish. They are easy to mark up with shoes or moving a chair across them. not that it damages the wear layer - but that it marks them up. I've used the Home Depot Allure ultra brand and the finish is a bit smoother and less easy to mark up. Also, this has a very grainy surface to mimic wood. I would appreciate less graininess so that it would be easier to sweep and clean. Dust will get caught in the fake grains unnecessarily.

Easily put together and realisticPut these floors in with my 78 yr old grandpa and girlfriend. Easily lock in. The tongue snaps on the short side if its not flush and you try to hammer it in. If it snapped, I just used them for the opposite side of the wall. There is a small piece at the corner of the long side that easily snaps off. Remove that and the only time you might snap a tongue is if you need to slide in between two planks. You have to go slow in that case. I only wasted 2 full planks total after adding up all the cuts, which is inherent. 800 sqft condo. They do scratch, but so do all of these other floor brands. I just wish i was more conscientious of it and didnt drag that piece of furniture. It looks perfect except for two planks that had their tongues snap, causing the floor to be slightly raised, but not enough to really notice with socks on. It takes some effort if you have to slide it in between two planks, so I didn't remove it, as removing it would probably break everything around it. overall, Ive never put floors in and it looks professionally done
