The DH512M is an uncoupling and waterproofing membrane designed to secure Ditra-Heat heating cable in place. Ditra-Heat provides uncoupling to neutralize shear stresses between the substrate and the tile covering to prevent cracked tile and grout. The cut-back stud structure of the Ditra-Heat membrane holds the heating cable in place without the use of clips or fasteners. It also eliminates the need for a self-leveling compound which minimizes the assembly thickness and allows for quicker installation.

Easy to use and fast to put down!
Very simple to cut and install. I put this in my basement for intermittent electric radiant heating and it works great! No cracks in the tile. One thing - make sure your unmodified (if applying over concrete) mortar is on the wet side and that you dampen concrete first before you lay down the mat.

My little secrete
This stuff is amazing. I would never go back to another product. The ease of installation and convenience of the wires in the mat make the tile installation a breeze. Do not hesitate on this product it is a allstar.
