Great product if you aren't doing the install yourself. I’m installing this with my dad who has done numerous laminate and tile projects and has every tool and trick known to man. As other reviews have said the seams MUST be tapped in with a block and mallet. This is a massive understatement. Also there were a handful of seams that would not seat flush that I’ll have to live with. Swapping out planks did not work. If this project would have been laminate we would have finished the project in 3 working days, but here we are after 7 and still have 2 more left (working on weekends 6-8 hours a day).
Overall I’m very happy with the look and function of the flooring and like that it has some texture and grip to it. But this is by far the most difficult product we’ve ever worked with. It shouldn’t be this time consuming. I have 2 bathrooms left to do and I will NOT be using Lifeproof again. I have too much time invested in the floors I’ve laid down so far to rip it up and take back.

My husband and I just installed over 600 square feet of this flooring in the kitchen/dinning and formal living room of our home. This product was very easy to work with. It does score and snap like advertised for cutting pieces, but you will got through a lot of blades. We also found using an oscillating tool for difficult cuts was very beneficial with this flooring. As far as durability it seems to be holding up well - slight scuffing from moving the fridge back into place, but nothing deep and really only visible when looking at it in reflected sunlight - just looks like dull smudges so nothing earth shattering. We have a small dog, she doesn't like the flooring at all, but only because she has trouble getting traction. The key is in the prep work - make sure you are preparing your subfloor for before putting this in. check for high and low spots and take care of those a head of installment. I am very happy with our finished product

These planks are beautiful and nice to walk on, but beware-- put on your Patience Cap! You'll need to be patient with yourself and patient with the process. The fit is VERY exact, so make sure you do the long end first, leaving a TINY maybe 1mm line at the short end, and only bang the short end into place when the long seam is perfect! If you do that and follow all the other directions, you might end up with a beautiful floor. (I did, but with one bad seam at the beginning and a couple of non-perfect seams later. You can't change them once the short end is banged in.) Overall, I'm satisfied, and I will continue with the rest of my project (one more room and the hall in between.) However, if you want absolute perfection, consider paying for installation. Corners, closets, doorways, imperfectly straight walls, imperfections in the floor, measuring and cutting the planks to fit exactly....all of these are details you'll otherwise have to deal with.

I purchased one box of this and 1 box of the "Lighthouse Oak" to compare, the samples in the store just wasn't big enough for me to visualize how it would look. This floor is beautiful! It is pretty much the same color as Lighthouse Oak, but the lighthouse oak pattern on this is more like reclaimed barn wood; not a lot of grain which the Sterling Oak has. While I love both styles, ultimately went for Sterling Oak.
But, on that note, the LifeProof product (no matter which color/style you go with) is awesome! Very easy to install, very forgiving on uneven sub floors, easy to cut (well, I'm using a chop saw, skill saw and a Rigid oscillating tool for small trim/cuts). It's not fully installed yet, but it is looking good.

Nice Product
This lifeproof looks awesome. I transformed my home from carpet to these and blown away by the looks after installed. Easy to install as long as you take your time cutting corners to actually fit. I use a jigsaw to cut straighter. You will not regret by upgrading to these!!!!

I already had a wood grain laminate installed and had to replace portion of it in the washer room due to water leakage. I couldn't find the same exact grain and I believe the stone scratch design is a great transition. I love the fact that the underlying matt portion is attached. I installed it directly over concrete floor. Installation was super easy, lot less mess than laminate or wood planks. Just be careful with the edges not to hit it anywhere since they are easy to snap and break.

I would consider myself on the medium side of being handy however working with this product was really easy.
Here's what I did:
I used a box cutter to cut the ends of the plank with a square and once I made a few swipes, I snapped the flooring over my leg and that worked fairly well. If you are trying to use a box cutter to cut it all the way, I can see why peoples arms could hurt without snapping the planks. I did go through a ton of blades. For any odd shapes (around vents) I used a jigsaw to cut other shapes.
I'd suggest to take the time and plan out you installation, clean your subfloor, remove baseboards and be patient and ensure you tap the planks together.
Floor feels good under your feet, has good cushion and does not feel too cold due to the built in underlayment. Looks great too!
