Love this Floor
My husband and I were in desperate need of new flooring in our home, however, we didn't have a lot of money to spend. We went with the Brazilian Cherry laminate because of the price and I really liked the color. My husband installed the majority of it by himself. Let me add that my husband has never installed floors before. It did take time to install but for the most part it was fairly easy for him. I would suggest having more than one person help if you plan to install it yourself. AND the laminate is very sturdy, there was hardly any that chiped !
This floor has turned out amazing ! We have a 1 year old daughter who has already put it to the test ~ believe me ! While I was painting she picked up the paint brush and did a number on our new floors. It came right up no problems, even after the paint was dry.
I have had tons of compliments on it.......I love it ! We have these floors in EVERY room in our house (not bathrooms) . I was so scared when we first purchased it but once it was installed I fell in love. It looks beautiful, easy to install, and sturdy !

Great product!This product is easy to install ( we installed most of the house in just a weekend!) Not only does it look gorgeous, but its as close to indestructible as you will find! I installed hardwood flooring with a 50 year warranty on the finish in my living room a few years ago. What I didn't anticipate was that while the finish has held up, my 100+ pound dog has "dented" the surface with her claws! I installed these floors and no dents! Spills, scuffs, permenent marker, even paint from paintballs - forget about it! I have not found anything that doesn't come off these floors easily with a little 409. I have 2 large dogs and 3 very busy young children who test these floors daily and they hold up to all of the abuse! You cannot beat these floors, and the price is great!

Beautiful and easy to insall. Increased value of the homeEasy to lock together. You need young knees... up and down and up and down. My 18 year old son never installed a floor before and was the main installer with the help of myself (mom) and my 15 year old. He did a fantastic job. We installed in 5 rooms 900 sf without seams.
You need a chop saw (miter saw), a table saw, and a wonder bar. We started out using the spacers and being totally meticulous about measuring but the floor did not allow you to make a mistake as long as you started out straight. We bought the expensive thresholds for the transition into bath, kitchen, and outdoors and they were fine but check them out before you install or you will be routing like we did. Instead of buying the expensive edges we used brown calking and it looks great.

5 Kids and 2 Dogs! One is a Large German Shepherd!We bought our first home 4 years ago and began working on our own updates. We started with one room first, the family room and it has held up to 5 children and and 2 dogs. I hate carpet and was so tired of steam cleaning it so we bought this as an affordable price with the original intention to "just get by" until we find something better. WELL, we fell in love! We installed it ourselves and after its beauty and toughness with zero scratches (remember 5 kids and 2 dogs with one being a German Shepherd!) we decided to continue the floor throughout the house. Our home is 2400 sq ft and the difference is amazing! We get so many complements and I don't have to steam clean any more! Just brush, and use a dry mop (meaning not wet but damp enough to clean up and shine). I was thrilled to find it on a Black Friday sale because now we can rip out the carpet in our bedroom, the last room to be done! So, as a mother who has 1 husband (love that man!) 5 children (18, 12, 7, 5, and 2) and 2 dogs....I can confidently say we would recommend this floor. It's beautiful and low maintenance. Low maintenance is a must for me! It's not difficult for my husband to install and he includes the children to help too! he has the right tools so it's not frustrating. So check out my pic and if I can figure out how to do before and after pics, I will.

The flooring is a little tricky to get started, but...The flooring is a little tricky to get started, but once it is going it isn't that bad. The edges seem to chip easy, but it was usually against the wall that would be hidden. If I used the block to hammer it together, it didn't chip. There are markers to disguise the chips or minor scratches. I didn't have any real scratches that could be seen. So far it is holding up better than I expected for the price.

make sure to purchase click floor installtion tool with this product.The installation started out easy however after the first row I realized that I should of had purchased the click flooring installation kit ( I went back to home Depot and purchased it) SKU # 417838 , the kit brings 50 wall spacers, taping block and a pull bar to tighten the boards together, again I highly suggest you pick this item up along with your laminate flooring. The cutting of the boards puts out a lot of dust so I moved my table saw outdoors to do the cutting. As all wood flooring installations you need to stagger the installation of the boards so the seams won't line up. When finished the room looked even better than what I was expecting , the finish on the laminate looks great and the joints are barely noticeable , as all laminate flooring it streaks very easily hand prints, bare foot prints and even the wiping of the floor with a damp rag leaves streaks, many people in the forums suggest a little vinegar and water with a very very damp mop will remove laminate streaks. knowing this I put down a rug and a runner to avoid some of the maintenance. I would highly recommend this product the price is great and the results are even better. There is a lot of cutting so do try to buy a couple extra boxes to compensate for any mis-cuts, or damaged boards. also don't forget thresholds for door openings.

Great valueWe just installed 150 sq ft in our hallway. A few things I would mention -
- The patterns repeat much more often than we were led to expect (1 piece in 20). We actually found the rate to be more like 1 in 7.
- The interlocking edges are fairly easy to damage during installation, We bought the recommended installation kit, but still managed to damage several pieces. This was probably due more to our actual installation requirements with several compound angles. The instructions say the planks can be installed either direction, with groove-into-tongue being more difficult. We installed in both directions, and I would say groove-into-tongue is MUCH more difficult. Keep that in mind when laying out your project.
- Use a quality underlayment. We went with the standard type and it turned out a bit noisy.
Overall, this is a great looking floor and a great value.

Order from someone else than Home Depot. I ordered 7 boxes and an entire box worth of flooring (9...Order from someone else than Home Depot. I ordered 7 boxes and an entire box worth of flooring (9 planks) was damaged and unusable. Other than that it looks great and was easy to install.
