This is without question the best laminate flooring product I have used and undoubtedly the best value. I have worked with several brands of laminate at significantly different price points. It is durable, looks amazing, easy to install, and unbelievably inexpensive. I installed as a temporary solution in my kitchen and I am so thrilled with it, I spilled it into the Dining Room and Living Room. Water spills on it all the time and we've had zero damage.
Some helpful hints:
Have a rubber mallet on hand during the installation to tap on the locking mechanism as you set it down.
Make sure every plank is carefully installed with no gaps from end to end. As you work, you'll find a certain section may have a slight bend. Just work with the material to get it to lock in.
Watch for small particles which may find themselves in the grooves, they could cause a gap if not cleaned out.
If you are careful and do all your preparations, you will love this floor and get a lot of time out of it at an unbelievable price.

Great floor! I did it myself!I am a retired 62 year old woman and have never done a DIY project like this before. I've never used an electric saw before either, in my life. I read the reviews, figured out how much to buy, purchased the floor, and got online to study how to install it. I read lots of articles and watched you tube video's. I bought a good pair of knee pads, and a little jig saw once I felt confident that I could do it. I was able to install it in my 22 X 18 den and it looks great. I still can't believe that I really did it. I still have to put on the quarter round and plan to do that next week. It took me a full week, but I only worked a few hours each day, and took a couple of days off too. I took my time. It was a fun project. I'm planning to install the same floor in my master bedroom, and yes, I'm doing it myself. The hardest part of the job for me was getting the boxes in the house, 32 pounds each, and removing the old wall to wall carpeting, and pad, and moving the furniture. I'm so proud of my new floor!

We have no animals but it has officially endured a baby and toddler, which involved baby walkers, sliding furniture (falling furniture), dragging brooms, spills after spills after spills, slamming hot wheels, constant rolling of the highchair, etc. I am very impressed by the floors. We've had a few boo-boos that have caused chipped/scratching of the floor.
1. I didn't realize a nail was stuck under the vacuum wheel and vacuumed the foyer and scratched it all over about 3 feet. Thankfully it was a very thin nail so the scratch is very thin and unnoticed by many guest
2. The toddler and the broom. Our son got into a bad habit of slammed the broom onto the floor which led to multiple chips in the floor. I used a touchup pen and they're unseen by guest.
Overall, it's a floor, there's going to be chips and scratches. We've had it for almost 4 years now and still LOVE it. It's dark, so you will be sweeping/mopping a lot. I use Swiffer wet jet on them weekly (some days daily)and thoroughly mop it once a month.
I gave 4 stars just bc of the chipping

Wonderful Product. This flooring is absolutely beautiful and has fooled everyone who all think it's real hardwood, it looks that good and the quality is top notch. The hand scraping effect and darker color were exactly what we were looking for, real hardwood flooring with similar features is simply too over-priced, I don't care if it is real wood. Installation was a breeze, we had not problems or issues with any sort of defects in any of the boxes we purchased and we installed it in our entire home, minus bathrooms and laundry area which is 1475 sq. ft. We opted for the basic underlayment and have no issues with noise or sound with the flooring. We also have 5 dogs here, 3 of which are 85+ lbs. and all are young very active playful dogs and there are no issues so far with their nails on the flooring during their rough play and it has been installed now for 6-8 weeks, which is not something I can say for our old flooring. Can't go wrong with this product and very happy we chose this.

Awesome! We purchased a special offer Hampton Bay Saratoga Hickory handscraped laminate last year for cheap. When we went to replace carpet in the master, they no longer carried the flooring. Luckily, we have found this TrafficMaster Saratoga Hickory is an EXACT MATCH to color, print, and scrape pattern. It is 1 mm thinner (just use better underlayment) and it is wider plank (but if anyone notices an inch of plank difference between rooms, they're too attentive). Done deal! Sold!
For the price of this laminate, it looks realistic and feels great on bare feet. It doesn't have the fake glossy evenly through the room. It isn't slippery. It has lived through spills and mud. It has held up to 4 dogs and rearranging furniture. It still looks new!
Even though my husband does high end construction and remodels, I could not bring myself to spend more than $1 sq.ft. for laminate. Couldn't have made a better call! We're much happier how easy it is to clean versus the $18 sq yd. carpet we replaced with this.
*Note- Use the Hampton Bay Enderbury Hickory transition moulding- sold in stores.
