Kerdi is a sheet-applied polyethylene waterproofing membrane and vapor retarder. Kerdi200/10M covers 108 sq. ft. and is ideal for waterproofing tiled tub surrounds and showers. This membrane features an anchoring fleece on both sides to anchor it in thin-set mortar. Kerdi eliminates water damage which can lead to mold and mildew.

I have used this product twice now and it has...
I have used this product twice now and it has met my expectations. However, time will tell. I will suggest that you use Ditra-Set or the Schluter specific unmodified quickset for application of the Kerdi fabric and tile. Also if you are going to be applying the fabric to a product that the mortar doesn't stick to you will want some Kedri-Fix caulk adhesive, e.g. we used a steel porcelain coated shower-pan, which the Ditra-set doesn't adhere to very well. So, just along the every edge we place a bead of the Kerdi-fix to ensure no moisture wicking and that the Kerdi fabric was adhered to it, which worked well. Hope this was helpful.
