The LoudMouth monitors SunTouch mat, wire or underfloor heating elements during the entire installation process and sounds an alarm if the heating elements are cut or damaged, allowing for easy repair before the heating elements are covered with finished flooring or insulation. The LoudMouth gives you the assurance of a quality installation. Features include 9-volt battery power, on/off switch, green light to indication operation, red light to indicate damage to heating elements, test button to verify proper operation and a very loud alarm. It's a must for every job.

Worked great!
The LoudMouth monitor worked great. It was easy to install, even came with a battery and a jewler's screwdriver. I would recommend it to anyone installing an electric radiant floor heating system .

Valuable back up when laying the heat mat.
Provided a back up when installing the heat mat. Not 100% necessary , but does give you a level of additional comfort.

boss is loud mouth
An must have for any heating pad installing made me feel safer when trowling the thin set over mat but let me give you contractors an bit of advice defenally use the plastic trowel well worth it and an peice of mind nowing that its no going to harm the mat when trowing the thin set

Decent Product
We used this alarm as recommended, while installing heated floor mats underneath tile in a bathroom. It took us a little bit to figure out how to hook it up but we are not electricians and the instructions were not as clear as they could have been. Made us feel better to have it hooked up while installing the tile.

I used this with a SunTouch warm wire 40sq ft. It worked great. Gives you a piece of mind when installing the flooring over your heater. It is super simple to wire.

One of the mats we purchased had a bad seal...
One of the mats we purchased had a bad seal on its tip end. When we went to cover the mat with thin set the load mouth went off. Repairs were made.
