Requires sealant to prevent stains
After reading reviews that mentioned cleaning issues, I still decided to take a chance on the tile. I installed it as my shower walls and after taking the first shower I noticed it left behind very noticeable water and soap stains that would not go away, even after cleaning the tile numerous times with conventional cleaning products. I decided to buy Tilelab Cleaner and Resealer and used a drill powered nylon brush to clean the tile. After all the stains were removed and the tile dried, I used 511 Impregnator sealer on the tile. I waited 48 hours to allow the sealer to penetrate before using the shower again. I have been using the shower for several weeks now and have not had the tile stain issues I had the first time I used the shower. The sealer has been great as it repels soap and water without leaving stains. If I had used the sealer from the get-go I would have saved myself a lot of time and frustration with having to remove the stains!

We have used this tile in so many applications and still can't get enough of it. We haven't experienced any of the issues described by other customers.
It's consistent in size and color, has worn well without the finish rubbing off and looks fantastic. We use a stacked bond instead of a staggered bond and it looks very Euro modern.
We especially like this Metro Glacier neutral taupe gray color with its fine lines throughout. The photo doesn't do it justice.
Our preferred grout color is Warm Taupe (#923) from TEC's power grout line because we've installed this with the MSI Linea stone tile (Home Depot) and a ceramic penny round tiger eye called taupe. It's as if these three tiles were manufactured specifically for each other in terms of color coordination.
As we renovate and update our homes, we continue to use all three tiles for bathrooms, basement finishing and laundry rooms. It's been in place for more than a year in one home and performs as we expect ceramic tile should. When this tile goes on sale, it's a truly fantastic deal.

This is a great looking modern tile, installed with a dark grout and it looks amazing. Only issue I would say is there is a sight variation in sizes between some boxes. Outside of that it was a good tile

Uneven and tons of visible foot prints
These tiles looked great at Home Depot and were reasonably priced compared to some other ones but boy what a disaster!!! Had them installed in the kitchen floor. First of all, almost every single tile has a slight bow that resulted in 1.5 to 2mm in height variation between tiles. Not noticeable if you walk in your slippers or shoes but if you run your hands across, you'd definitely feel the issue. I had professionals installing my tiles and they claim these tiles are defective. Unfortunately, the job was almost completed when the issue was noticed. Now, I also see tons of foot prints all over the tiles as if it wasn't washed in months. Even tried a cleaning product but it didn't help. Went online and started reading about glazed porcelain tiles and it seems that a lot of people have an issue with visible footprints. I really liked the pattern of these tiles, very contemporary but had I known about these two issues, I would have never purchased this product. Don't waste your money and do some research on various tile finishes such as glazed vs matte, etc... Good luck

Really shows the dirt
This tile looks beautiful, but be prepared to clean it daily. It really shows the dirt in our kitchen floor. The streaked line pattern means any drop of water, dirt, or crumb will break the visual lines and be very obvious. In our previous home, our kitchen floor tile was a natural stone pattern with irregular gray and tan tones. I hadn't realized how much that hid dirt until we installed this tile. Even with wet Swiffering and wiping small spills by hand with wet towels daily, it looks a mess soon after. After living with it just 6 weeks, my husband has already called a tile contractor for a quote to jackhammer it out of the kitchen and replace it. I'm going to try a sealer on it as a last ditch hope that we can avoid that, but I'm not optimistic. We will try to live with it in the bathroom, which gets less traffic. Be warned.

This was an emergency tile that came to the rescue
I recently had my downstairs bathroom remodeled and I was planning on using a linen pattern tile that I had in storage for at least 3 years. The linen tile was supposed to be used for the walk-in shower (3'x5'), and for the restroom floor (5'x5'), but it turns out I only had enough tile for the shower. Since the linen tile I used was discontinued, I went with Home Depot's Metro Gris. I first saw the Metro Gris when I was shopping for the material for the bathroom remodel (got it all at Home Depot), so I already knew what tile to get. I am so happy Home Depot had this style in stock because it was just what the doctor ordered. I only needed 2 cases (of 8) to fill up the floor. At $1.99/sq.ft. I was happy to not have to pay a fortune. ]
Now feast your eyes on my budget bathroom that looks like a million bucks!

GREAT LOOKING TILE, GREAT VALUE!
Really nice modern looking tile. Installed it in a small master bath (floor and shower) with 3/16" Delorean Gray grout. Was a little concerned about installing the same tile for both the floor and shower but really glad I did. These tiles are very nice but my only gripe is that I installed a couple that had really tiny chips and box adhesive that I didn't notice until the end. My fault for not noticing but I was expecting sturdier quality from Porcelain. Also, whether I used a dry continuous rim diamond blade in my angle grinder or a wet saw to do cuts, I still had little tiny chips with horizontal cuts. Not a big deal and hard to notice unless you look really carefully. Overall a beautiful, good quality tile with a great value!

Looks okay, it's very delicate, it chips fast so make sure you coat it with something. The dirt/dirtiness is very noticeable, maybe the lighter color one would show less. After installing it, I regret using this one, put it in my kitchen and laundry room because I wanted the hall way and the living room with this. I have a different tile in the bathroom and this one is much better and less hassle than the Metro Gris. You have to continuously keep cleaning it. I haven't finish putting everything back in the kitchen, but this is a very delicate tile, compare to others.
