Combining elegance with strength, the Montagna Glazed Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile from MARAZZI consists of a hand-scraped wood plank on a porcelain body. The porcelain body allows you to enjoy the look of wood with the durability of porcelain. Unlike conventional wood planks, these porcelain planks are not affected by seasonal changes that cause the joints to expand and contract, so you can count on a rugged, long-lasting yet stylish upgrade to any room of your home.

Great Looking Tile
We renovated a small bathroom and I wanted an outdoor feel in the shower but also keeping it very light color since we only have one small window in the shower. We had to special order the color tile I wanted but it came in perfect condition with no breakage. All tile was extremely well packaged with foam, however, we did lose several tile due to the glue from the box being hardened onto the top piece of tile in each box. We had enough extra tile to avoid using the tile. The look is perfect and we used it on the floor too along with some other tile to break up too much of the same look on the floor that is in the shower. Everyone who has seen the tile and bathroom loves it. Seems to be durable and easy to work with. Love the hardwood look of the tile and the color was perfect. We went with beige tones, but I think the tile could be used with gray tones too.

Easy and GreatI have worked with many different types and sizes of tile. This tile was very easy to use and had very little drop off pieces. I laid the tile in a diagonal pattern, and did the 1/3 layout brick style. I was going to do the 50/50 brick lay out, but if the floor is uneven at all it wouldn't work. The look of the tile actually made the 600 sq ft of rooms look so much bugger. We bought the recommended 20% more then what was needed and we returned 10 unused boxes. The only bad thing I could say about the tile is that while cutting with a wet saw, it does chip a little if the blade is not new. However, the chipped areas I had was covered with baseboard and can't be seen. Best tile ever and I would use this tile again and again.

Beach House VibeAt the time of purchase (spring 2013) there were very few wood-look tiles that were affordably priced. We were quite pleased to find these in our local HD. We tiled our entire home, except bedrooms, about 1800 square feet in all. This was not our first tile install, but we're far from pros. Still, it wasn't difficult. We went with a random layout and 1/16 inch grout lines, which goes a long way towards making it easy, as little goofs are less noticeable. It also allows for small differences in tile length and width, which can be a problem with some layouts.
Do not rely on the single plank view shown online to judge the color, it is much more gray than the majority of the tiles, which are a whitewashed light brown. It's a true pale brown, perhaps very slightly grayed, but without any yellow/orange or pink tones.
We're quite pleased with the secure packing by the manufacturer, and with the overall quality of the tiles. Out of 3 pallets, very few tiles were broken, chipped or even cupped. I was also pleased to see that there are well over a dozen different tiles, due to the way they're printed. That really helped with our open plan whole house coverage, giving a very natural look, like wood. The texture is nice, making for a non-slip floor, even when wet from people coming in from the pool.

Great Product--Should be IN storesI am extremely pleased with the look and quality of the Montagna White Wash Glazed porcelain tiles. My house was built in 1898, and the white-washed "planks" (tiles) look approriate with the house. I had to order these online because no store carried them. I was nervous that they might not be the same color as they appeared online, but they exceeded my expectations especailly in the variety of "grain" patterns. They are frost proof, which was imperative as I had them installed outdoors. Also the slight variation in in texture (as if real wood) keeps tiles from being slippery when wet. An awesome product. It should be in stores.

Completed the facelift 8 of my moms Oceanside cottage. Found...Completed the facelift 8 of my moms Oceanside cottage. Found this neutral color to complement any deco accents. Glad HD keeps this tile well stocked. Reasonably priced, easy to lay.
