Updated ClassicWe are loving our new Sable Oak Outlast floor. We used it to replace our very sad, old carpet in our family room. We have a little dog, and we pretty much live in there, so we needed durability. The Outlast floor gave us the rich wood look we wanted, and no worries about scratching or doggy messes. The floor is easy to take care of, and looks great just sweeping up with a dust mop. The sable oak color has tones that will be versatile for gray or warmer paint tones. We installed the floor ourselves. My husband is handy and knew how to use a table saw. The instillation process was very doable, as our room is a rectangle with no door entries.I really liked that there were varied plank patterns, so I could space them to look more natural. It’s so pretty! We love it.

I'm disappointed because the small sample in the store is misleading. It doesn't show that each ...I'm disappointed because the small sample in the store is misleading. It doesn't show that each plank has a darker stain around the edges, so when you put multiple planks together, there is a pattern of dark boarders. It does not look like real wood, despite the texture in the plank. I gave it 2 stars because the install was easy and the product appears of good quality. It just looks like a fake wood floor.

Pergo Outlast + Sable OakWe chose the Pergo Outlast + based on Consumer Reports recommendations. Elegant would be the best word to describe the Outlast + in Sable Oak. It's a beautiful mid-tone brown with both a dark walnut & cream shift in it's texture. The only downfall is that the tone, although beautiful, is so unique that finding exact trim & transition was difficult to match. We ended up using hardwood trim & transition with Minwax in Jacobean to match. Installation was a breeze, and we were able to complete our 400 sq foot room in just one day. The day after installation, we had a water spill on the new floor. It cleaned up easily & is completely undetectable. We would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a great hardwood alternative.

BeautifulHave had Pergo in my kitchen for over 15 years and it has held up extremely well.....have two active large dogs and no visible wear. Now building a new house and found the new Outlast line of Pergo. Bought a box and it is absolutely gorgeous. Going to install everywhere except the bathrooms in the new home.
