The Prolock Knee Pads are really amazing while having to be on your knees for a duration of your worktime. The pads are foam encased gel for extreme comfort. It's the first knee pads I've used that include a thigh support which really works well. I like the fast sure-grip locking red tabs. The knee pads are lightweight and fully functional for every job your bring it. I've used these knee pads for paving a sidewalk, laminate floor install and looking forward for future jobs. When I first opened the box I noticed the knee pads a bit bulky but once attached to your knees and thigh it's comfortable and don't shift left to right like other knee pads. I'm pleased with the 2 storage loop to place your pencil, utility knife and marker. You can even use a ruler to into the loop. I can simply say the knee pads absorb my weight very comfortable in between moving from place to place. If your in the flooring industry type of work these pads will come in very handy. Also the adjustable truss fits to any calf size.

There pretty good knee pads they are well padded just...There pretty good knee pads they are well padded just only bad thing is that they slip a bit when wearing slacks if it's denim jeans perfect otherwise will slip a bit not much.....

These knee pads are actually nice to wear! They look bulky and uncomfortable but they are very w...These knee pads are actually nice to wear! They look bulky and uncomfortable but they are very well designed, very supportive and easily make crawling around on my knees less of a chore.
The Velcro straps can be adjusted to the best fit and the big red fasteners quickly clip the pads to the knees. The design of the straps means that they don’t cut into my legs which is always bad news. The supportive design resists slippage and the high quality materials provide a good, long lasting package.
The combination of impact absorbing materials reduces fatigue from crawling around on hard surfaces and provides protection in the event of impact. In the past I have bought and used much cheaper knee pads in the belief that it is not actually possible to get a comfortable pair. I know that to be wrong and if you ever spend time on your knees then these pads are an investment in comfort and safety.

I’m rarely on soft surfaces and crawling under homes is just part of the job. Because of this I need knee protection that is comfortable and durable. I’m 6’ tall and about 210lbs. I found the knee pads to be too narrow especially since I wear double front pants. Even when I smooth the fabric I get a lot of chafing on the outside of my knees. While the upper part of the knee pad keeps it from rolling to the side while crawling, it forces the knee pad down when I stand requiring constant readjustment. I also found the buckle difficult to grab especially while wearing gloves and it requires some fumbling to get the hangers apart. They do seem well made and I suspect they will be durable but I’ll have to ask my apprentice, he’s the new owner.

Uncomfortable design. I really wanted to like these knee pads as I've tried many different brands...Uncomfortable design. I really wanted to like these knee pads as I've tried many different brands and styles and struggle with all-day comfort. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, these have a tendency to pinch the sides of your knees and the supports chafe in odd ways. I found this both with thick work pants and with shorts. The straps were useless as I could never get them to properly tension on my legs (I'm 5' 10" and about 185 lbs. with fairly muscular legs.)
Despite some initial misgivings I tried them out on a small flooring job I was doing in a closet. I found they kept shifting on my knees and chafed to the point I ended up taking them off and switching to a simpler knee pad style. I did try everything I could think of with the adjustments but ultimately these weren't comfortable enough for wearing for 2-3 hours straight.

I am thoroughly impressed with this set of Professional Black Gel Thigh Support Stabilization Saf...I am thoroughly impressed with this set of Professional Black Gel Thigh Support Stabilization Safety Knee Pads. I got these because I'm installing hardwood floors throughout my house, and the wear and tear on my knees was beginning to be too much. The second I put these on, I was in heaven. These are heavy duty commercial grade knee pads. I like that both the thigh and calf straps are adjustable, they'll easily fit over a heavy pair of pants. The have a locking mechanism that allows for easy release. The quality of them is out of this world. They are comfortable enough to wear all day if you had to. I wore them when installing hardwood throughout my 2nd floor without any issues at all.

I have owned many different types of knee pads in my 40 year career as a painter. And I hated we...I have owned many different types of knee pads in my 40 year career as a painter. And I hated wearing all of them. They hurt are uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time. I have to admit these thigh support stabilization knee pads are incredibly comfortable. The straps wrap around you thigh and your calves not behind the knee like all the other ones. I hardly know I have them on. I was on my knees all day painting baseboards and they performed fantastic. I highly recommend them.
