Caution!! This is a good product. However it is not stocked at the local stores. It has a long lead-time, so if you need them for your project, try to plan ahead. I paid for expedited shipping to receive the molding on June 6th, but did not receive them until June 13th. Otherwise, good matching color and texture to the flooring, which is what you are looking for.

The only concern is if/when the piece needs to come up for some sort of flooring or base board maintenance, it'll break and you'll need to buy a new one.

stair nose looks great and track is easy to install....stair nose looks great and track is easy to install. but bought length of 96” to cut for two locations, and entire set comes with 5 screws only…not enough for two sections of track to be installed

Looks great. Easy to install. Lost one star for material...Looks great. Easy to install. Lost one star for material being somewhat flimsy underneath. Ended up securing each piece with nails to ensure high traffic area would not come loose.

Installed easily and looks pretty goodI ordered this and several other trim pieces to finish out a room. While I would not recommend the quarter round or base more, the stair nose was actual pretty good. It was easy to install and ended up giving a nice clean look. The veneer also seemed much more robust and accurate to the flooring it was designed to match. The install when quickly. We have a larger open raised floor section so I needed 3 of these to cover the step up. I was able to mate them quick easily and the cuts for the scarf joints were clean. The only issue was if you look very closely you can see a faint light line as you look at the joints where the side of the veneer is showing. It's not enough to be noticeable to the average visitor but something I notice as I installed it.
Would a wood stair noise be better? Absolutely, but then you have to spend the time and effort to color match your stains and cut the relief for the expansion joint for the flooring. We'll see how this holds up, but I'm generally pleased after the install.

NIce piece, matched our floors perfectlyWe just put down some Traffic Master Saratoga Hickory floors and needed a stair molding for our top stair. Hardest part of hhe install was squaring off the rounded nose of the board at the top of the stairs yo work with the molding. Once that was done, it was simple install. My only issue is that the molding was damaged in shipping since it is such a long piece and easily bends. Luckily I had plenty of material to spare. Overall, it was a nice product.
