Worked like a Charm
I am not sure if some of you got a bad batch or what but I found no fault with this product. I used it on Vinyl as well as wood to even out the floor before I laid down tile. It was very easy to mix and I just took a little out at a time and transferred it to plastic paint cup to keep it from drying out. Keep a spray bottle of warm water near you and just lightly spray whatever you plan on patching and spread it out evenly why it's wet. If it starts to ball up spray your putty knife or whatever it is your are using with water and go lightly over it again. I actually used a Rubbermaid Baker's Spatula and it worked like a charm..lol This is not a finishing product it's not going to be smooth to the touch like your cement floor. REMEMBER, How it looks spread on wet is exactly how it will look dry. Use water to help spread it if you have too, just don't pour it on. As far as dry time, make sure it's not to thick. Do layers for thicker patches. Which means, let the first layer dry before adding another layer. I did one layer one night and the next night added a second layer. You do this until it's level. I used a small heater to keep the bathroom warm so that it would dry easier as well. This was my first time using a floor patch so hope this helps some of you.

Worked wellI needed something to fill in gaps of my underlayment. It worked great. I filled the gaps and covered some staples. I let it dry over the night but it was dry to touch within a couple of hours.

tough stuff but hard to work withI used this to fill in some plywood imperfections before laying down some vinyl tile. I found it hard to make it smooth after patching (very gritty). Some areas where I didn't smooth it out properly, I ended up paying the price after it dried. The instructions state that you do not sand it. I found out why when I actually had to break out my grinder to smooth it out. It will tear sandpaper to shreds. To its credit, I think it would be better for patching concrete because it is hard as a rock when it dries.

Works as expected!I don't know what other people are talking about, but I recently used it to patch some holes in a concrete slab and it's was very easy to use with a simple spackling tool. It is a bit gritty, but it's not meant for your actual floor surface or your countertop - it is more for sub floor repair. If your surface is dirty, the product may not smooth out as easy and part of it may become unusable after it's mixed with some dust and sand, so you may want to clean the spot where you apply it with a damp cloth first. Dry time was excellent - some smaller patches dried up in a couple of hours, while the bigger ones took few more hours to dry. The final result is a very hard-looking material after it dries and it blended with the concrete I had in the slab so I could hardly see it without knowing exactly where it was. One time I spend couple of minutes just trying to find the patch I did a day ago :). Although I must say that it's a bit rough to touch - not quite as smooth as a real concrete.. But most important part - there is no need to mix anything - just open a can and it's ready to go. I only bought a small can and I still have more than half of it left after fixing a whole bunch of holes in the concrete slab - it seems to go a long way.
The product has a bit of a smell to it, but not too bad and reminded me of a citrus drink smell of sort. It's also a good idea to keep it closed right after you get enough of it to cover the patching area, this way it will last you longer for future projects.
Overall I would use this product in future and I would recommend it to others. I am actually thinking maybe I can try it to repair some cracks in my concrete driveway, although I am not sure how it will hold up to the outdoor conditions..

Does not dry as fast as advertised!!!I bought this product to fill in the space where 2 broken tiles were removed so that I could install new tile over the existing tile. The product claims to set up in 4 hours, but this couldn't be further from the truth. To make sure that it would cure faster I tried to lay down a thin layer, let that dry, then add another layer to build back up to the level of the existing tile. This approach didn't even work because each thin layer took anywhere from 1-3 DAYS to dry! This part of my tile project was supposed to go fairly quickly, however now I been waiting a week now for this stuff to set up so I can proceed. Stay away from this product, it will stall your flooring project needlessly. Home Depot should not carry this product anymore until the description is changed. I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Two days... rubbery soft. Wasting my work time.Needed to patch a hole in my tile where the refrigerator wheel sits. Didn't care what it looked like, just need to fill it, like now. Laid in 1/4" coat like directed. Waited four hours. Looked dry.... so added second coat. Next day.... total rubber. Put a lamp on it to warm it for a day. Come back, total rubber. Two days the whole families been squeezing around the refridgerator in the middle of the kitchen because this useless floor patch is more suitable for tires then tile. Waste of your time, product does not state that it dries rubbery. Even my super thin 1/16" skim coats on other areas never dried solid. Have used other brands and have patched floors with solid enamel tile like results that cure fast. This product in no way what-so- ever compares to the real stuff. Home Depot should discontinue.

Floor Patch Pre MixI used this to fill in cracks and level floor after opening a wall in my Kitchen. This patch mix was a bit High in price but well worth it. It spread easily and cleaned up well with water. I also used it as a filler for some spots where the Vinly tiles were not cut perfectly. It matched the grey seams on the tile perfectly.
