Good Looking & Durable
We selected the iron wood color for our retail boutique. We were not aware that what we had purchased was not commercial grade and therefore Home Depot could not install it in our store with any sort of guarantee. So, I did it myself two years ago (female, age 60). What I liked about it was the ability to cut it with a box cutter and a study metal straight edge. . .no saws like laminate.
I prepped the concrete floor--leveling and patching what had been covered with carpet in a building built just post WWII.
It has worn wonderfully and we have received so many compliments on the flooring. Many customers have asked what we used as they were looking for new flooring options.
Take your time installing and be sure the adhesive remains covered so dust and dirt do not affect its stickiness. Do use the Allure single-step cleaner & polisher (soft satin finish) for protection. We also use Pledge Floor Care multi-surface squirt & mop in between as well as dry and damp mopping it.
I did find a Youtube video that was very helpful from one who had installed it. Make sure your first pieces are square to the room--that's key.
Our store is in West Des Moines, Iowa so it sees snow traffic and still beautiful!

NOT A TRUE SAMPLESample looks good but states: 'Actual product is 2x thicker than sample'. A different brand of laminate flooring FREE sample was so thick it would not have cleared opening the door. I will hav to assume this 'Actual product' will not be too thick. A smple should reflect the actual product. I also think a sample should be FREE.
