It gives the kitchen a very high-end modern look. Most people cannot see it, but it has a slight color of the lightest tint of Green/Aqua color, it is almost clear glass color. It also has a wavy texture with the ripple effect which makes it stand out. The wavy, rippled effect, reminds me of the ocean waters, that is why it is the main feature in my beach-themed white kitchen. We have an entire wall with this glass backsplash tile going all the way up till the ceiling around the exhaust hood. We kept everything simple and neutral in the kitchen design, making it the main feature in our kitchen. It looks stunning ! It was what I had wanted in my beach-themed kitchen. It is the first thing everyone notices when they come to my kitchen saying, "WOW!" In order to prep for the backsplash, just to be cautious ( so the glass tile doesn't change color after grout), we painted the wall (only the area for backsplash) in white primer even though the back of each tile is already paper white color. We also used snow-white instead of bright white color grout to go with it, so the color of the glass stays the same and not turn gray once it goes up the wall. Only con: A box has 10 mesh sheets of 18 tiles each, instead of single tile. The size of each tile is like like a rectangle subway tile. The tile guy had to cut the mesh to separate each tile so it was time consuming. So hoping in the future, the boxes are sold with single tiles instead of 18 tiles stuck on mesh sheets. Our Pro-backsplash guy did an amazing job. Over-all this tile went beyond our expectations.
